Its funny you say that. I was driving around downtown about an hour ago admiring the progress at the medical campus, 600 block of main st, and in front of the arena. - Buffalo--Sabres
Except they need to re-pave Main street in the worst way.
Now I know the chances of this happen are 99.9% not happening due to what the teams want and I dont see any of the top three moving out of the spots they are in but for fun I made this proposal up for your viewing pleasure:
Avs - Take Jones as it was a smokescreen
Florida - trades #2 overall to Buffalo for Zemgus Girgensons or Mikhail Grigorenko, 8th overall, 2nd rd pick, Mark Pysyk - Buffalo selects Nathan Mackinnon
Tampa - trades #3 overall to Buffalo for Thomas Vanek, 16th overall, 2nd rd pick, Andrei Sekera - Selects Jonathan Drouin
some may say overpaid or whatever but would be cool to somehow have them both. as you can tell ive been daydreaming

Many Buffalonians love holding onto things that remind them of sucking....Trico Building, the old Bethlahem admin building, the Buffalo Bills - RynoBull

Oh god i know. I drive a truck and its still treacherous. They are re-doing delaware right now heading towards Niagara square. Bad news Delaware will now be 1 lane each direction! HATE IT!

true that the call was missed. but that was also the single most destructive rule the NHL has ever implemented. at that time, the amount of goals that were being reviewed for "toes in the crease" was simply out of control. this at a time when goal-scoring in Golden Age. i know this won't be a popular sentiment with Sabres fans but as an unbiased observer, i prefer to have that goal win the Stanley Cup than to have that goal called back and cost a team the Stanley Cup.

That call did not cost the Sabres a Stanley cup. Who's to say Dallas doesn't score a minute later anyway?
Who's to say the Sabres don't score 1 minute later and win game 7? - Pierceme69
AND win game 7? Lets be real. Dallas was the better team. We were lucky to hang on that long. That being said I would have liked the opportunity to fair.

Its bullcrap. They did the same thing in Kenmore. The politicians and DOT are doing the "It worked on Hertel" model. Problem is, Hertel is not a through street. The only place people get to on Hertel is a restraunt or side street.

Dallas was better. But they were very old, we were a younger fresher team that would have had 1. Fresher legs 2. Hasek
