You should of read all the posts after the Avs beat the streak, they were so pissed off and just ridiculous in some of their posts. Guys were calling for Duchenes and Landeskogs head the next game, wanted them to get injured and done for the season.

marchand's last fight was subban iirc. shaw did a better job in the first period drawing two bogus calls. too bad about your pp.

Hawks have 10, Penguins had 9 so they have the edge. But I still contend it matters which players have the championship pedigree. When Chi won the Cup its top 4 forwards were Kane, Toews, Sharp, Hossa. All four are still the team's top 4 forwards. When Chi won the Cup its top 4 d-men were Keith, Seabrook, Hjalmarsson, and Byfuglien. 3 of those 4 are still part of the Hawks' top 4.

Conversely, when Pitt when the Cup, it's top 4 forwards were Crosby, Malkin, J. Staal, and Peter Sykora. 2 of them are gone. Their top 4 d-men were Letang, Gonchar, Orpik, Scuderi. Again, 2 of them are gone.

If you want to look at straight numbers the Hawks still have more. But if you look at who the players are, there is little doubt that the Hawks have far more key players who are champions.

There will never be perfect coverage and I going to probably get killed for this but, I think the entire NBC team sucks. Can't stand Roenick, Milbury is a bufoon and the whole Doc! Edzo! Why would he lie about it? Its highly possible that his mole inside the organization fed him bad info, but he gains absolutely nothing by making stuff up.
