can't stand bob cole when he calls what he feels was a penalty behind the play. the cbc guys who did the first six bruins-buds games were awful to the point of going no volume.

i could have given dave strader and brian engblom simultaneous handys for showing up to work game 7. strader was almost as emotional as jack edwards where the former's voice cracked on one of bergy's goals.

As a Canadian, I only watch the CBC coverage. I knew it was going to be a Leafs love-in in Round 1, so it didn't bother me. I still have Game 7 on my PVR and watch the last 10 minutes whenever I'm bored. It's funny to hear Hughson do play-by-play as his heart breaks.

Funny I did the exact same thing, as I was thinking "who is this guy?!" I just didn't have the audacity to tell him

Interestingly enough, his FB page lists the Bruins as a favourite team...

CBC is the best way to watch a playoff game, but Glen Healy and PJ stock on the panel need to get their asses kicked, they are just mouthy little guys. Kevin Weekes and Elliotte Friedmen are the best guys to watch, and you cant ask for more having Bob Cole call a game, hes a legend. I hate TSN's coverage in comparrison.

There will never be perfect coverage and I going to probably get killed for this but, I think the entire NBC team sucks. Can't stand Roenick, Milbury is a bufoon and the whole Doc! Edzo! Panger! nickname thing is awful. Let's not forget Pierre who should be a level 100 sex offender by now. You're not in a locker room/no longer on a team STFU...just my take anyways.

Oh Pierre is the worst, us Canadians are glad we got rid of him from TSN coverage, he just molests players with his eyes. Milbury gets a slight pass in my books bc he always wanted to fight PJ stock on CBC, and since he has used a shoe to beat a man, he is ok in my books.

Yup, he has beefed up since retiring. Works with the Avs as a player development coach. Sucks that he cant travel with the team since he still has concussion issues even today.

Pierre and Healy get it for me, watching him throat Crosby the entire Pen's series was downright horrible, thank god it was done in 4 and didn't last long. Only time CBC were homers was the Leafs series, but I knew it'd be that way and hey, after such a long Playoff drought i didn't care lol, good FOR THEM.

Thats what drives me nuts about Healy, he always has to relate current situations back to his playing days. I remember how I was sitting on the bench on a triple OT game and we lost, and how deflated we felt the next day, everyone was so tired....he sat down for 5hrs, im sure he was ok.
