I was just looking through the ufa list and saw a defenseman that was +23 I've never actually seen him play it just looked like a good defensive guy at +23 and intolerant of it 30+ pts

Trade Malone and our # 3 pick to the Avs for their pick and a fourth next year. Take some of Malones salary if necessary and get Jones. No need then to go to the Ufa market and sign up some of our young players. Colorado will get two forwards which they need, we get our Dman.

hedman and salo were leading the league in +/- for the first like 10 games if we can stay consistant we will be ok

Yeah, he was a pretty good defensive presence for the Leafs, IMO, in the short time he was there. Won't light the world on fire, but dependable.

I doubt we see Brown on a fourth line. Other than that I like what you've got here. That third line still concerns me with its inexperience though. I want the team to sign a guy who can slot in anywhere.

If we take Jones, Koekkoek and Korobov won't be in Tbay this season. I like Korobov and would LOVE to see him with us, but Aulie has more NHL experience.

Johnson is the perfect third line center. He has accomplished everything he can in the AHL it's time to shine. Panik has bee solid, consistent and steady. He can't learn anymore wallowing in Syracuse.
