That sounds right, but trading Peverly would be much better. Looks like he has a limited NTC, a buyout would only give them $1mil relief. A trade would give them $3.25 or so. Unfortunately there really is no room for Ference, but how can they let Horton go with his playoff production track record.

Looking at the other goalies in the league I'm guessing Rask gets around $6 mil a year. He could go balls to the wall and try for $7 mil plus, but I'm going to be a slight homer and hope he take a little less to stay in Boston and know that if he countinues and the bruins continue they have something special. And he could be a hall of framer with this teams defensive style and commitment.
Bergy did a few years ago, and his contract is up after next year, IMO bergy could go anywhere he wanted in the world and make over $6.5 h e l l even closer to malkin Crosby or stamkos money.
I'm really really hoping he takes a lucic type contract around $6.
The young guys allow us to keep the core with less spent on the back end if they can develope.
Which is why pevs at $3 and Kelly at $3.5 is kinda right in the torn in our paw area of this team, especially with how they played theis last year.
