Well that's the point. If you ever thought about a trade with Philly, it needs to be a kings ransom, anything less isn't worth playing against letang 6 times a year plus playoffs - drummer829
Yeah. Letang would be the sought after prize of the trade, so Philly would have to overpay for Shero to even consider the deal. |

Flyers fans jumping on our board are gonna be all over you with that one... How dare you put Couturier in any deal! - nelson911
Couturier wouldn't be in this (clearly hypothetical) deal because, again, the Flyers wouldn't want to play against Hartnell AND Couturier 6x a year. I just know that Letang is probably gone after this year, and that Pittsburgh fans hate having to play against Hartnell. Just wondering (taking the rivalry aside) what it would take. |

It's one of those new 3-minute window offer sheets than requires no compensation. |

It's an awesome deal for the kings. He's only getting better and 2 years from now it will look like a steal. |

The Kings now have pretty much the same amount of cap space as the Penguins, with 3 less players on their roster. |

I would think that any Letang trade to Philly would have to include Voracek.
What would Flyer's fans be willing to give up for Letang? |

From Voynov's side, I'm surprised he went with 6 years. He gave up a few UFA years. |

Something like Coburn, one of the kids (prob. B. Schenn), Read, and a 1st.
But I doubt you'd want Schenn. I heard he once cross checked a player. |

I fully believe they need to get a good D back in any trade. Letang plays 27+ a game, I don't see how you can say Despres or any of the other young players are ready to step in and take that role. Thanks to Bylsma, who knows where Despres stands in his development.
As for Hartnell, I want no part of a guy who description includes the words "dumb penalty". - madmike71
How about most PP goals or 35 goal guy? Those words also need to be included. |

And according to Bylsma Despres will be a top 4 defenseman next year so yes a lot of those minutes will be his. Better get used to the idea because it's likely to happen |

haha im sorry but schenn is a little punk. he can piss off. if i honestly have to trade tanger to the flyers, id want an overpayment to the point you would laugh me out of the room. voracek and simmonds would have to come back. |

And according to Bylsma, MAF is the starting goalie next year. He's either a liar or is very masochistic. |

And that's why (as I said) the trade would never happen. Just asking how close does Hartnell come. |

For the sake of argument, suppose realignment was putting the Flyers and Penguins in different confrisions. Would that impact your asking price? |

He will be 28 at the end of his contract and at his prime. If he keeps getting better and the cap continues to rise, in 6 years he could land a nice little contract around 7-8 mil per year. |

I don't want either of the Schenn's...one is a punk the other is the most overrated d-man of the last 5 years, you can thank TO for that one. |
