what do we thing of the reported 4 year 18-22 million deal Dupuis is looking for?
What does he realistically come in at now? - TheGame316
Too much. I don't see him getting more than $3-3.25M from us. If he gets this elsewhere, good for him. We'll be happy.
We have a few players we need to lock up soon. (read Cooke, Murray..) |

Niskanen is young too. The thing is Sbisa hasn't been a fan favorite the last couple years. Some guys on their board would trade him for a 3rd round pick....sounds like Nisky here - Orpik44
Niskanen was probably worth a third rounder before the play-offs. His stock has dropped.

I'd think you trade Niskanen for a draft pick. Free up some salary. - drummer829
I was just looking for a win-win situation for both franchises. A pick would be cool too. If Letang goes, hope we keep Nisky though. |

A change of scenary would look good for both players. If we had to add something, it would be very little. Just food for thought.
I know, I know..."I need a reality check" |

May I ask, where do you come up with these ideas? Some of them are so ... Edmonton Oiler fan like. This one isn't, but others ...

haha just tell me one for instance. I'm in good sports tonight so I'm willing to hear you. (I know one you'll say: Letang+"something little for Shattenkirk/Oshie)
I always try to keep it real as far as value for a player goes. If I'm not accurate, it's not by much |

I wouldn't do four years for Dupuis... 3 at 3 is my limit.... |

Me too...this would be a fair deal, for us. Double his salary and get it done. |

No need for letang with pietrangelo over there. That's like saying we need another 1st like center. If its anything, the blues need a scoring winger
I still like the idea of creating some deal with sending letang to Ana for Gibson + |

Gibson +? A deal would have to be around Ryan 1st right?
Ryan+ one of their goalies for Letang +. |

Matt Martin and Okposo for Letang and Kennedy is all the evidence you should need. - canadianpenfan
haha I said M.Martin or Hamonic and Okposo for Letang. Adding TK to the deal would be giving up too much |

I'd do that. If we could swap Dumoulin for Samuelsson or Bortuzzo, even better. |

I think Dallas also has a young goalie they drafted a couple years ago. I think he was supposed to be good...don't remember his name. |

Jack Campbell it is. Just remembered now. Yeah, I guess he's not going anywhere. I'd rather have Eriksson/Campbell than Ryan/Gibson, considering their contracts. |

Again we'll see Lemieux talk out of both ends of his mouth, WHINING about getting the dirty stuff out of the game than turn around and resign Cooke. - twpguy
are you telling me that leopard has not changed his spots?

Says the same fan base that cheered Bobby Clarke, Dave Schultz and the thousand other goons that played for that franchise. Cooke isn't even at those guys level when it comes to dirty. - Oneonta Penguin
now, you must admit he had lost all moral compass when it comes to right/wrong on the ice.
Matt Cooke now, well he is a different player, one the team should look at keeping |

While I'll give you that, he did have a point. A minor, mostly misinformed point, but a point. I hate the "Oh, a FLYERS fan..." reply instead of addressing the issue that was raised. It's as bad as a Flyers fan blindly saying, "Oh, the team that has Matt Cooke wants to talk about a dirty player." See, it doesn't really address anything except that both teams have dirty players.
Mario's words came at a bad time, right before Cooke's hit (on Tyutin, I think?). Lemieux has since backed it up with his fine proposal, but no one remembers that. - jmatchett383
Its conveniently forgotten, like most facts when it comes to good news 'stories'.
Still timing is everything and Cooke did put his owner in it. |

the whole #everything@in#the@world#thing throws me off - nbartley9
it is a really good news reel though. Even if you dont 'post' you follow the topics/people you're interested in and get really good coverage. Plus you can follow those with opposing views and get a look at the whole picture.... Mind you, that can frustrate the hell out of you. |
