No, not all about offense with me. But I'd rather have Clarkson on the team instead of Hamilton. I'm not saying Hamilton wasn't a good role player and I like role players as much as the next fan. I'm just saying the Leafs have to upgrade at whatever position they can to keep improving. Every other team will be looking to upgrade at whatever position they can too so the Leafs shouldn't be satisfied with the status quo.

I doubt you’d find a single person that prefers to have Hamilton on the team over Clarkson at equal salary. It’s those that realize there is a salary cap that have different thoughts.

That may be. Time will tell. But I'm sure you would agree that you would prefer an upgrade on Hamilton if the Leafs could find one. The reality is that the Leafs, with their resources, should be able to find an upgrade. Whether that upgrade is Clarkson or Horton or someone else who might not be so overpriced, then I'm sure the Leafs would do it, would they not?

6.5 is just a first second and third pick. That is a small price for Rask. Then we trade dubey for help on D. Phoenix needs a starter and a backup. They have D. Same with NYI. I think a goalie like rask would make our d situation go away. I think we have good enough d to win with rask in net. I like Chara but overall I think our d is better than Boston's.
