Again what does toronto have that could help out the kings now? There arent many 25+ goal scorers for 900k. They would have to offer up kadri to get bernier which i dont think they will do.

i think a deal of read for bernier works out good for both teams....the most i would do is read + our second for Bernier + their second. If they ask for more i hang up the phone.

I personally wouldn't deal Read for Bernier straight up. Now that has to be taken with a grain of salt. I don't know enough about Bernier to accurately judge his potential. If the Flyers think he's the real deal, then they probably would. Goaltending is such a crapshoot.

Unless Schenn totally explodes this upcoming Season, there is a very good chance that his Cap hit could be lower then what it is now. Couturier's shouldn't go up a whole lot. Giroux's is a different story. His is going to be around double what it is now. They can re-sign Read, no doubt. Unless his demands are way out of line.

We just don't know. He may want to test the market, and get teams bidding against another, to maximize his worth. He may decide he's happy here and just wants a fair market deal. It could go either way.

And the funny thing is that it's a pretty nice arena. Huge concourse. Lots of food choices. I feel like it's wasted there.

totally agree. ive been there for the game and a few concerts, and was very impressed every time. clean, open, friendly staff, in and out parking. i wouldnt mind shooting down there once a year for a pens game. i do find it funny that they have a big mural behind the one escalator, in which literally none of the players are on the team anymore though. its like parise, langenbrunner, and martin celebrating after a goal. still pretty cool looking
