I'm just surprised that Roy isn't trying to implement the "build from the net out" philosophy.

Edit: That said, being a former Q coach, he knows exactly what Mckinnon/Drouin can bring to a team

They got trounced 9-3 by those two on one night.

Think he'll figure it out at some point?

Kinda losing hope, to be honest.

I think the most hardcore Price supporters have to be starting to question him at this point.

I'm not a Jays fan, or even a baseball fan for that matter. But Brett Lawrie comes across as an insufferable bumhole.

I don't think Marchand is every bit as arrogant as Lawrie.

Me neither. Also, Marchand has actually accomplished quite a bit already. Lawrie....not so much.

There is a construction site behind our office...some guy just stopped by and started to argue with the workers. He went back in his car, and he has been talking on his cellphone since.

I think poop is about to get real.

I don't understand how this strike works...

It's not like nurses, or teachers who are paid by the government. There are thousands of small construction companies across the province, who are these guys negotiating with???

Not at all. I guess the expression Avoir un grand coeur doesn't translate well.

Grand coeur = pity of the poor and the oppressed

oppressed = Jays

I don't know if this has any link with it, but Accurso's empire was sold a few weeks ago, maybe the new owners (including Gaétan Frigon) want a bigger part of the pie.

Canadian Tire Centre? really?
- DoubleDown

At least you can actually buy hockey gear at Canadian Tire. Most fitting sponsor in the league. Let's compare it to the other Canadian teams.

Montreal - Phone company that is part of an oligopoly that fixes prices and screws everyone.

Toronto - Worst airline in history that is only around because of gov't bailouts.

Winnipeg MTS - another phone company scamming ppl.

Calgary - Evil bank.

Edmonton - Pharmaceutical retailer .. probably the worst of them all..

Vancouver - Yet another phone/cable company in the Oligopoly.

Yep, Canadian Tire is by far the best of the bunch.

Most arenas here in the US are named after banks. How do those stack up IYO?

Edmonton: the owner of the Oilers is the guy from the pharmaceutical
Montreal: Bell is owner of 20% of the Habs
