Funny I can't decide which Canuck team reminds me of the 2010 Blackhawks.

Ah the past, we were all so much better back then.

The Hawks remind me of the 2011 Canucks...great team but second best. Boston is and was back then the better deeper team. Just my opinion, which is what this is I believe? An open forum opinion based website.

Oh, won't get an argument from me.....We have 1 guy on here who thinks a certain #25 was going to save our day today.....The fact somebody was crusading for damn near a week to get a marginal 3rd line player into the lineup, was by far the greatest thing I've seen on here......It beats the old days of the DH blog and JohnPaul the Christian.......

Hawks aren't built to handle large teams, who can counter punch. Boston is very good, and very deep, and has decent speed...something most on this board ignored.

Boston is deeper and just better at most every position, this thing is done!

16 out of 49 at the dot tonight. Bergeron 22 of 27.

Power play 0 for 5 with four shots on goal. 0 for 10 in the finals, and 7 for 68 in the playoffs.

Speed kills because it causes penalties and creates power plays. If you can't convert, it is a license to call in the bulldozers, because the refs call nothing in the post season.

And since the last line of defense is hitting back, the Hawks are pretty much doomed. Unless....they suddenly and miraculously turn around the power play and find a way to win...some....board battles.

Team is not built to win a Cup. Too soft. Sorry, but true.

- Return of the Roar

Perfect example about speed is the penalty Hammer had to take on Paille.

Can you envision #88 going to the net with the speed and determination that Paille did? Those kind of things win hockey games for a team.

Why don't you play hide and go phuck yourself. We know we suck, don't need your troll ass to confirm it for us. Now beat it, for real.

Contradict yourself much? For 2 days you've ranted how vik was one of the answers, but now he isn't?
The PP blows, for years running. If that's why they are losing, as you say above, how are they going to "fix" it in the next day? Same stubborn coach, same sh1t scheme

- dpard

As I said the last few days, show me film, show me shift, situation where 25 turned it over for a goal or a chance? Site it chapter and verse? Maybe if Jamal Mayers was in, we would have had a better chance.

Anyhow, I get dumber each time I respond to you. I can't help it that you do not have the capacity to comprehend. There is not contradiction. Hawks 11 - 5 with stalberg in during playoffs. 2 - 2 without. In case you do not know, I do not make the roster decisions. Q does, and he figured out that it might be good to go back to him. He decided that. Last time it worked.....all season it worked. all playoffs it worked. This is not opinion, these are facts. Split hairs all you want..look at the record.

Bruin players do everything with drive and purpose.

Us. Not so far in this Final.

It's amazing to me that Canuck fans have nothing else to do other than to troll the Hawks message board after a crushing Hawks loss.

Don't worry my friend! As the Canucks rebuild that franchise the Hawks should be in the thick of the Western Conference championship for the next 5-8 years! You'll have PLENTY of opportunity to troll!

i still hope stalberg finds his way to the flyers in the offseason to replace Matt Read on the 3rd line once they buy out Bryz and flip Read for Jonathan Bernier. I've said it before but Stalberg reminds me of Voracek before Jake found his stride.... Big Body, Fast Skater, Snakebit Shot. I also think Stalberg would learn to play more physical in a non-Coach Q system.
- moylander

I wouldn't be surprised if Stalberg puts up some nice numbers on another team's roster next year kind of the way Brouwer did in Washington.

Maybe we should have traded Stalberg for Ott yesterday. Or even Lucic? These straw man positions you guys create is akin to middle aged women female doging about everything in their lives. The fact you do not understand the facts of what I presented, and hear what you want, like a middle aged woman...it makes continuing this exercise rather fruitless.

Promise if the hawks win the cup, you will head back into the closet for another year. Or at least try to plug that hole in your cup that makes it half empty all the time.

I'm not talking poop, I gave an opinion. Boston is just too strong and deep for the Hawks to deal with...that's all I said.

They can do it too, I saw it in person period 1 of last game. They were all over the phucking Bruins and just dominated it.

It's not impossible for Hawks to turn it around if they can put in 60 minutes of what we saw in beginning of Game 2.

- patorioto

Yeah they can do it. Absolutely. But I think they mentally checked out. They just look beaten. Toews has looked beaten all playoffs. I'm sure once playoffs are done we will hear about his broken hand or finger

No worries, I'm old, thus I don't take it personally when things go bad for my team. A long history of disappointment. It's a game that we watch for entertainment purposes.
