That's a low blow. Ever consider that he may have a concussion or a fracture? Or that he was somehow rendered a liability by the injury? Or is Hammer a warrior and Campbell a pizzy because they both took a shot to the same area and Hammer came back out.
- Q...argh

Yeah, really...WTF was that about? I severely Doubt Hossa's faking anything. He's no Doug Gilmour, but he's no Nikolai Zherdev either.

Not a low blow

I just heard he took himself out and not under doctors recommendation

I have nothing but respect for the entire Black Hawks team

My other Favorite Team-Swear to god

I was just very surprised by that

Great series so far

FAIL! I think I can speak for Hawks fans when we say we like fans from other teams coming here, but not people like this. You have no idea what happened with Hossa and this is classless. Hossa has done nothing but work hard his entire career and has been one of the steadiest professionals in the sport.

do you even watch hockey? Get a clue the window doesn't close on a team just cuz you say it does. New coach, New power play, New systems.you might want the window closed but it's not.

who cares if J Toes plays hard? The guy is paid to produce and he has one goal.the Sedins would be run out of town if they did that, one goal .but they don't and didn't.fact is the #canucks are still in the mix and will prove it again next season. One of most successful team last 10 years consistently in the playoffs unlike your local team.the leafs.you have to be in the show to have a chance to win.

You are a sad and bitter, but typical Nucks fan for continuing to post nonsense here.

If I'm Q then Stalberg sits for the rest of his LIFE! not only does he suck at everything besides skating real fast then losing the puck, he did NOTHING when Chara was blasting Bickell right before the game ended. I dont care if Chara throws you off of him across the ice, you need to do something to stick up for your guys and show some F'n heart. Shouldnt be too suprised because Stalberg is a jerk that ive been not happy with since he got here.

Besides that, i think theres still a chance for the Hawks'. Stalberg out, Carcillo in, keep Ben Smith in (unless Hossa is back obviously) if Hossa is back then Ben Smith takes the 4th line spot. Power play is clearly crap, as long as they dont give up any short handed goals then fine. Im done getting pissed about the power play. Sack up during 5 on 5 and get in Rask's face, take the beating and give it back as well. Nothing to be scared of, the Bruins are good but they are a beatable hockey team.

F Stalberg, i dont want to see him ever again.

The Blackhawks were aware that Hossa may not play earlier on Monday, although the star winger participated in practice. He took warmups before Game 3, but was a late scratch.

Don't think it's a fabricated injury.

From my perspective your apology is accepted, but if this was truly reported (and some radio ass clown didn't just say it), then we'll find out soon enough. I won't speculate on it right now.

if you're planning on coming to the Hawks message board to be an ignorant troll at least have a clue of what you're speaking about. That way you don't come across as an ignorant, clueless dolt.

And the Dagger is only annoying because it's been heard MANY times in the last few years (one that I hope to hear many more times this season).

Oh! And what has been reported here and numerous other reporters.. Toews is playing with some sort of injury. Look at his play at the dot - he's NEVER been this bad.. ever.. in his career. Something is up.

No biggie. Everyone says things where they come off 'not cool', but I have no issue with Boston, their team or fans and all of us ARE on edge because we see the series slipping away and are a bit more sensitive to trolls (which I don't think you are one).

Regarding Hossa. Before I try and convict him I'd like to see the story. Obviously, if what you heard reported is factual then that is another ugly, sordid situation, but given the Hawks were aware Hossa may not play I think there was something there. I have no idea when he got hurt, didn't think he was hurt in game 2. Hopefully, we'll find out...It's gonna be hard enough to beat Boston WITH Hossa, let alone without him.

If Hossa is concussed again, not only would that be very bad for the balance of the series, but I think we also know who the first compliance buyout will be in the offseason.

Dude has a young family and more money than God already. I think he is smart enough to know when to hang them up. Here is to hoping that is not the case. They need him in the lineup.

I wasn't doom and gloom until I heard this stat on the radio: when the two teams split the first two games in Cup Finals, the winner of game 3 won the Cup 21 out of 24 times.
- faustus1500

I said this several blogs ago:

The only stat like that that matters is, the team that wins the LAST game wins the Cup 100% of the time.

Oh you didn't hit a nerve at all. I'm just calling you exactly what you are for making that comment: A clueless dolt who has no idea what they are talking about. I hope you can comprehend the difference.

I haven't remotely said that this series is over - still think it goes 6 or more likely 7.

If Hossa's injury does predate the warm up, then that can't be good. I would guess either the shoulder got worse or his post-concussive syndrome kicked back in. Even if he returns, how effective is he going to be?

In any event, whether or not Hoss returns (best of luck to him, I hope he's ok), Smith should stay on the roster and Stalberg can go bye-bye. He at the very least could have grabbed Sasquatch's head and laid on him to keep him from pounding his helpless team mate. Seems to me he no longer considers himself to be a Blackhawk.
