Still doesn't change the fact Gagne accepted the trade, does it?

Last I checked, both the Flyers and the Panthers missed the POs this year while both made it last year, and both were eliminated by the Devils.

Who knows how Florida is going to perform this upcoming season? Or the Flyers for that matter? And Florida has the second overall pick in the upcoming draft.

Gagne didn't have a buyout option though.

i might be wrong but i dont think he had a full NMC either. that guy just likes to bring up anything possible to try to defend himself for his original post even though there are 0 people who agree with him.

No he's all grown up now. Briere will either go to Detroit or Pittsburgh

Yes, it is stunning that a guy who wanted 4 years and $20mm to re-sign with the Isles got close to the same amount elsewhere, after that team traded for his rights.

Everyone in Fantasyland, where a guy lowers his contract demands because his rights got traded , please stand up so we can neuter you.

Per @DFriedmanWFAN, Flyers deal for Mark Streit is for 4-years, $22M"

A whopping 5.5M per year.

dont you guys already have 10000 centers? and lots of RFA's to resign?
highly unlikely dude

- FLYERSROCK!

No, not really. More like 10000 wingers and a few of them that try and play center.

There are likely going to be a few moves in St Louis with their forwards. We are not going to go with the exact same lineup up front. Not saying Briere is the guy I go for if I am Armstrong, but he is definately someone who fits the bill for a potential shakeup, especially with the actual salary being low for the next two years. His cap hit is irrelevant when it comes to the Blues.

Another dagger for the Flyers
It's all about the "BIG MOVE" these days for Philly.
They are a mess.
