I am sure Toronto will consider him. Could take Bozak's #1 center job and be reunited with JVR and Loops. Who knows?

Please check Henrik Zetterberg

Z only passed Briere this season, because Philly missed the playoffs but even so they have very similar #'s.. except for +/-, Z blows him out of the water (-5 Briere, 45 for Z). There HAS to be a place for Briere

Buffalo is on the border of Canada, so you can lump them in there as well.

I agree. Briere doesn't owe it to the Flyers to accept any trade. Never said different.

And Gagne didn't have to accept a trade to Tampa either, but he did...

you mean tampa that finished 5th in the east with over 100 points and went to the eastern conference final? nice comparison point...

Still doesn't change the fact Gagne accepted the trade, does it?

Last I checked, both the Flyers and the Panthers missed the POs this year while both made it last year, and both were eliminated by the Devils.

Who knows how Florida is going to perform this upcoming season? Or the Flyers for that matter? And Florida has the second overall pick in the upcoming draft.

I think the Blues would be interested in Briere. For sure if he is bought out, and I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to trade for him either.

Salary cap doesn't matter, his lower salary would be a big + for St Louis with them being a budget team.

And we can use someone who is money in the playoffs. Regardless if he is still that guy now, he would be worth a look.

I see Murray going hard after Briere .... he is a local boy (Go Go Gatineau), he would fit in well on our top six and he is JG Pageau's idol .... he's a perfect fit.
