Ek needs to update his cap central... - canadianpenfan
Only current roster player i would be interested in from them is Faulk. |

Looking at the Canes cap situation, there is no way they would even think about getting in on Letang. They have less cap space then the Pens, plus will have to give Faulk and Tlusty good size raises next offseason. |

Obviously I forgot about that extension but do you think Rutherford has any remorse over it?
13 goals and 24 points in 42 games doesn't equate to an almost 6 million dollar player. |

Wouldn't be surprised if there is actually some meat behind the ongoing rumor of Skinner to the Rags for Staal. |

$5M for Gonchar, $5.5 for Streit...you think Letang's gonna take a discount at $6-6.5? |

Yeah, that Streit signing pretty much doomed any chance of Letang taking a discount. Penguins fans now have a reason to watch the first day of the draft. |

Earlier cap1681 speculated Letang for Erikkson and another from Dallas. Any remote possibility or alteration to the suggestion there? |

That's pretty much a dream. Always though Erikkson would be a good fit on Sid's wing. Plus, i like their young d-man Dillon. Big, physical, stay at home d-man who showed promise this season. |

Not the worst contract, but we didn't get a deal either. The $22m number isn't confirmed to me until McKenzie says it. I worry about that 35+ rule. |

Dreger reporting its 4 years, 21 mil. 5.25 cap hit. A little better, but still not a great contract. |

I meant if Streit retires in a couple weeks as the poster I quoted suggested.
Try and keep up.
That term on an over 35 contract is not good, any way you want to slice it. |

A canadian team: Edmonton or Vancouver. - Orpik44
Vancouver DOESN'T have the goods to acquire Letang.
