Ty Anderson: Finally: Kelly, third line strike in Chicago
- tyanderson

There is such a fine line between these two teams, I have to imagine the hockey is fun to watch for a fan that doesn't have a rooting interest. Unfortunately for me I feel like I'm having a heart attack when either team gets into the offensive zone.

Full credit to Claude who formed a new line which scored both the goals. That line worked very hard every shift, looked like a real 3rd line which has not been there for quite some time. Paille has been great all year, so I was not surprised by his play as much as the other two. That pass from the boards from Seguin to Paille was vintage Marc Savard.

I hope the Bruins can build off the win, but still respect the Hawks who had what I would say was the most dominant period any team has on the Bruins this year. I have gained a lot of respect for Crawford, didn't him play during the season but very impressive in this series.

Finally is right. Tuukka is so disgusting. He should win the Conn Smythe, win or lose

Excuses for Bostons win

1-Victor Gretzky Stalberg didn't play
2-Refs cheated
3-Blackhawks were tired

I am here to say the Bs are a brutal, dominating, balanced, insanely gritty and high character team. I CRINGE when Hawks fans are saying we win this in 5...lets take two in Boston and clinch at home. WTF?

I think both teams are GREAT. The Hawks have a more dynamic group of forwards, but the Bruins have a more physical element in their game. Neither team promises to do much on the PowerPlay and both goalies are playing strong.

What worries me about last night is...did the Hawks "fall off" or did the Bruins slowly start to exercise physical will against the Hawks d-men on the forecheck. The game got progressively worse for Chicago. Had the Bs took momentum and then the Hawks took it back then we could just chalk it up to a prized fight with heavy weights trading punches, but as the game wore on the Bruins looked better and better...turning otherwise talented players like Brent Seabrook, Nick Leddy and Nik Hjmarlson into uselss pansies on the ice.

We already know the Blackhawks have NO answer for the Lucic line...now you guys may have stumbled onto another potent line...the Seguin/Kelly line worries the hell out of me...there you have two high character players and Seguin has been flying. Is that another line we can't control? Then you put the Bergeron line out there to stuff the Sharp line (which seems to be our only line worth a damn right now)....

The Bruins deserved to win last night and the argument isn't even close and I give kudos to your team for pulling through.

Bottom line is Monday will be interesting. Do the Hawks turn the tide or do the Bruins continue what they started in Game 2? I worry the latter, but I also know just like the Bruins, the Hawks also have some elite talent, high character players and champions as well.

My hope...steal one in Boston and make it a best out of 3 and then it basically is anyone's ballgame.

Good luck, but not too much of it.

Two games, two overtimes. Both teams have dominated at times, can't get much
More even than that.

still can't believe the Kelly line. it hasn't produced all playoffs until Claude flips Paille and Pevs. hope it continues to click. feel good coming back to causeway with 3 producing lines and last change.

Yep. Man you guys have some smarter people over here.

Tell some Hawks fans the above and they just dismiss it. It's a very even series, will probably go 7.

Great for rest of NHL fans to watch but pure torture for us!

he's been awesome, but so has the D in front, when he does let up a rebound, they clear it, they've been blocking shots like the 11 rangers. I think the D deserves a little credit.

Absolutely. One of the only times I'm glad I don't have a horse in the race. The best final I can remember watching was the 93/94 Finals, but this one so far is beating that. So far, the 2 games of the Finals have been the best 2 games of the season.

best part is the linesman restraining brad. hard to get a guy to flinch when he's not making eye contact with you.
