I always felt bad for DiPietro. He's a goalie I would have liked to see making a strong comeback. |

Horrible rookie crop this year. The last 15 years have had some junk Calder winners and real flash in the pans.
Sergei Samsonov-out of the league and retired by age 31.
Scott Gomez-washed up at 33, hasnt scored a goal in double digits sine 2009.
Gabriel Landeskog-sophmore jinx, had a horrible year.
Andrew Raycroft-Italian Hockey League, won't say anymore.
Steve Mason-maybe can revive his career in Philly, probably not.
Tyler Myers-started off well but career is going down the tubes. |

Landeskog is awesome, he'll be fine. And it's WAY too early to write Myers off.

If any Panthers fans have ever heard anyone scream "HUUBERDOOOOOOO" at a game, it was probably me
I'll still be down in south Florida for couple years, if the Panthers get MacKinnon it'd be a lot of fun to watch him and Huberdeau play. |

Landeskog was injured and Sacco refused to play him with O'reilly even after he was back from his holdout which hurt his numbers.
However putting him on that list is silly. It is still a little to early to dog on Myers also, its never wise to knock a goalie too early (look at chara) |

True story.. just two nights ago I was playing NHL13, and was going against the Bruins. Rask made a save and for some reason I was like.. where the frank is Andrew Raycroft?! Now I know; and knowing is half the battle |

I was hoping Huberdeau would do well so that Florida would grab him and leave Larsson to us during that Mem Cup where he won MVP.
He's a good player and has a bright NHL future.
Talon will get Florida legit again before you know it. |

Yakupov should have won it, more goals, played way less minutes, mostly on the 3rd line. |

I am not saying he isn't, and adding Mckinnon would certainly help, however it takes more than 2 players to build a team. Lmao look at EDM, they have 5 or 6 and they still suck - Meeqsb
Funny coming from an AVs fan with a team with as many or more high picks plus some big name players to play with them.
Yeah, your core was picked fist once and 2nd twice so you are so much better than the team that picked first 3 times. Once a lottery win.
Only an AVs fan can have their team full of high picks including a first, and two second overalls in Duchense and Landesog and finish last and then make fun of EDM.

Not that it matters... but Duchene was 3rd overall behind Tavares and Hedman. And Colorado and Edmonton have the same problem: too many dead weights in their line-up. |

Gallagher played with Desharnais and Pacioretty for most of the season. - jugkope
Sort of.
It was Cole-DD-Pacioretty for the first 40% of the season give or take. Gallagher really only started playing with DD and Pacioretty when Cole was dealt but then at the end of the season and playoffs they went back to Gally's together. |

Why on earth are you throwing stones when you live in a glass house. Edmonton has picked 1st in 3 consecutive years and still cannot put it together. Avs have not picked 1st overall since when? Would that be the Eric Lindros pick?
Remember all the talk that Edmonton was a force to be reckoned with last season because of their AHL player and top picks. There s a reason why the coach and GM's were fired. |
