Love that filter

Don't know much about him other than everybody says that "skies the limit" for his potential because of his size and how he plays despite being a lanky bean pole. The only thing I really remember about him is that he had major hype to start the year because he had something like 22 points in the first 20 games, then he fell off the face of the earth (reverse Josh Leivo). Had only 25 points in the final 40 something games. Wouldn't touch at 21 considering the Leafs don't have the luxury to take serious gambles on forwards.

Thanks - I had never heard of him. The depth of this draft according to player reviews seems too good to be true.

Heading to Vegas in a couple weeks for work - I always put down $100 on an NHL team with higher odds to win the next Stanley Cup. Thought Oilers right away but just checked and they are 30-1 with the Leafs, Sens, Islanders and Caps. Flyers are 40-1. Who should I bet on?

That's my original thought. But based on my past experience I can pretty much assure the Oilers wouldn't make it if I bet on them. Based on that, I should bet on the Habs just because....not that I'd have to.

Sabres, Panthers, Flames 100-1

I put $100 on British Open long shots too - been close but no money.

I want nothing to do with weiss (he's goingt o be more overpaid than bozak) and at least we know bozak fits here.

Exactly. I don't see enough difference between the two to make up for the bolded part.

I have no real interest in Weiss. You can argue that being in Florida is why he has topped out at 60pts but he also seems to get hurt often and I dont think he brings enough based on what he will end up getting paid.

YIKES!!!

I'm not a gambler per say - these are the only two things I bet on while there - it's tradition - not another penny spent gambling on anything else.

Weiss should go west.. the way the East is shaping up to be big, strong, and hard hitting I just dont trust his durability.

I have always bought one of the $3.00 coins and put it in the giant slot machine, with the huge winning numbers, and I have never won. I am glad, it would just mess with my income taxes anyway.

Yeah, Memorial cup?? totally ineffective....

Not a huge fan of Domi, but he had one bad tourny and now is totally ineffective? He's far from it.

Now if comes to down to signing Bozak or Weiss......you sign Weiss.

5.5 back of a wild card, Reyes should be back soon. Second best record in baseball since May 11, won 5 in a row. Swept Texas at home something thats never happened before

No question...perhaps we could "learn" to like him and his 60-70 points? We're never ones to hold a grudge when a player we hated signs with the leafs and actually produces...are we?
