This documentary looks to be a good one (unlike the last one which was complete sh1t)... This one comes out in August...

I don't understand why society is doing a documentary on (frank)ing fake poop.

he's had 1 above .920 SV% in his career. Same can be said about Dubey. but Dubey isn't coming off a .908

on a better contract.

I wouldn't trade the two straight up if I were the Oilers.

It's interesting to see how it all started, and to hear some of the behind the scenes stories... There's been what? 12 movies? Lots of stories/nudity to talk about.

The Nightmare on Elm Street documentary, "Never Sleep Again" which was done by the same people who did the new Friday the 13th one, was awesome. It's like 7-8 hours of behind the scenes sh1t.

Those players will be available all summer and shouldn't be hard to find.

UFAs. Enough said. With the talk about Knight possibly signing here, he could be our 3rd or 4th line centre.

Jesus Christ. Canadian goaltending has hit the sh*tter. Who's gonna play in Sochi? Luongo, Reimer, Dubey, Ward, Smith, Price all not great. The US has Schneider, Howard, Quick, and Anderson

Here's a couple of interesting things about Friday the 13th...

~ It was actually a small side project for a group of people who were working on kid's shows at the time.

~ For part 2, the part of Jason was advertised in the local newspaper.

Hell no. Not top 10. Off the top of my head, Lundqvist, Rinne, Anderson, Quick (despite having a terrible year), Rask (starting to get enough games to be considered), Halak (not a great year either though), I’d take Miller ahead of Ward. Jimmy Howard. There are a couple of old guys that are falling out of the ranks, like Luongo, Backstrom, Kipper obviously, Vokoun. Price is sort of like Ward, spots of top play, among mostly unimpressive play, but he’s younger than Ward, and so I’d give him the nod there. Schneider needs more games to be fully considered, but will probably be ahead of Ward soon enough. One full season of strong play and I'd put him up there.

Given salaries, and play as fairly new to the NHL goalies, I would rather Dubnyk or Reimer over Ward, easily.

- Dirte

I don't think Rinne is top 5 either. I see him as a good goalie with great stats because of Barry Trotz's defensive system

Maybe you can “get away” with it, and I don’t disagree, the forwards need to learn defensive responsibility. It comes with time. But just by the way you use the words “get away with below average D” tells me that you know that’s the top priority for the Oilers. It’s undoubtedly the weakness of the team. Had the Oilers not been using a shutdown type system, the Oilers would have been one of the worst teams in terms of goals against. Dubnyk would be seeing 35 shots plus a game.
- Dirte

He did face 35 shots many nights.

Well, we don't have any real pieces to use in a trade, aside from our first this year and (if we're willing to part with them) Gagner and PRV. So signing UFA's seems like the only way we'll get those bottom pieces.
Why you would trade any of those 3 players in a trade to acquire bottom 6 players is beyond me in the first place.

Hainsey is really underrated now. Problem is I don't like where his contract is going to end up. Especially after Streit getting 4 years 22mil.

Use picks. Role players get dealt for mid-round picks all the time. Look at some team who either has no cap space or is looking to move a 3mil 3rd liner. Trade them a B level prospect.

Depth players aren't hard to acquire.

I say no to everyone except for Hainsey and Vermette. Including that 4th line haha. Brown can stay but I question Lander's ability to play on that line with those players. I just don't see him generating much success with Brown and Smyth. Smyth needs to go away.

I guess luckily for PHI it can't be signed until they move salary. They still have time to pull the pin.
