Thank you, you made me laugh. Critical is one thing, calling for the end of days is another. The Hawks played crappy after the first period. Is that critical enough for you? There is another game on Mon, Weds, and Sat at least. I've read a lot of your posts, and you've been a fan for many years. How many times were you watching the Hawks play in late June? It's a great time in Chicago hockey! Enjoy it.

There's no joy in losing. None. Just insomnia.

I'd rather miss the playoffs completely than come this far and lose.

Too many guys coughing pucks up on the boards, in our end, in the neutral zone and at their blue line. If you can't get it out and get it deep CONSISTENTLY...you deserve to lose.
- philco28

They either coughed them up or waited too long and had no outlet. There was so much hesitation tonight in their own zone. I was screaming at the TV about it. Maybe it was Boston's forecheck and kudos to them for not going away. But I think the indecisiveness was a killer

You could argue the Bruins were the better team in both games. If Krug makes the safe play instead of throwing it up the middle, the Hawks probably don't come back in that game. As it was they needed a deflection off of Ferrence's skate to tie the game and then the Brunis had close to a dozen chances to put that game away in the first overtime and couldn't get it done.
- RetiredGoalie

You could except after the 1st OT the Hawks had the edge...Also hard to say the Bruins were better as they lost a two goal lead in 3rd.

Bottom 6 forwards were better for Chgo in Game 1 and opposite today...Same with Rask and Crawford.

Couldn't agree more. This is what hitting does: gets to you mentally and makes you rush or cough it up. Their decisions were terrible. Really weak clearing attempts, waiting forever so the passes are read easily and picked off, rushed passes. To be honest they did it in game 1, too. The longer the games went, the worse their team d was

I think kruger and frolik have been the hawks most consistent forwards both games, but Shaw and Bolland were amazing in game 1 but bad today. What scares me, though, is boston's 1st line outplayed our star players both games. Toews, Kane, and hossa have to step up in Boston or we come back down 3-1

I've a question for ya...

What goalie, who's not currently playing because they gave up too many friggin' goals, would you want instead of CC?

Lundqvist?
Kipper?
Quick?
Emery?

You'd be complaining just as loudly is my guess. And don't mention Niemi because his number sucked in 2010 compared to CC now. Sure he stole a game in SJ, but the Hawks also scored...ALOT...in 2010.

Oh..and I wish I were CC's agent because he'll be getting a raise from someone when his next deal is completed.

Had a clean look at the game winning shot. Wasn't screened, wasn't deflected, HE MISSED IT! Period!

It's not that they lost that makes it a disgrace, it's how they lost.

Are you sure? Both our teams have had expectations and failed. I get that, but every time you get to the playoffs, you have a chance. Is that better than to not have any hope?

Yep...it happens. The game is hockey you may want to watch it sometime. You'll discover that all goalies occasionally are beat by well placed shots travelling at 80-100 mph.

You probably blame CC for Burrows goal in game 7 two years back?

Whatever...blame him if you want, I don't expect to change your mind.

If the Hawks speed game and roster filled with offensive talent did it's damn job the game should never have reached OT.

1 - 1 after 3 periods (with one questionable whistle)...hmmmm, wonder who we all should blame.

I'm looking for more offense, CC is wayyyy down my list.

Can't argue with that logic!

I've seen way too much bad, to not enjoy the quality I've witnessed since 2009. Considering the garbage Hawks fans have witnessed since the mid 70's...I'll take it.

Amen.

Especially with a team this good. I will have nightmares for the rest of my life if we lose this series; just like the 2003 Cubs and the 2006 Bears.

I agree. For an offense that is so explosive, it is very inconsistent. You can say that last year, too. Crawford was terrible in OT last year, but those games, too, should not have made it to OT. The CORE 4 have not been getting it done enough. Toews with 1 goal in his last 20 playoff games Take away kane's hattrick and he isn't much better. Hossa is Hossa. Crawford has had to face the better quality chances. Much better chances no doubt

I watched the replay of the last play, and if anyone can tell me WTF Seabrook was thinking on that last play, I'd appreciate it. Frolik was approaching the blue line. He had a Bruin on him, but there was room along the board. Even if it gets past him, there's little chance for an icing. If you don't have support, go behind the net and wait for the cavalry. I just don't get it.

Yeah they could do a lot of damage anytime, that's for sure. If they don't on Monday and wednesday it is going to be hard to win this series.
