i guess i dont know why everyone is overlooking stalberg's awesomeness all of the sudden. seems to be the over reactionary case of people around here. is he injured i dont know? tell us why? why shouldnt he be in there now?
- jsabey

Rumor has it 25 was going to play again for game 2, until he fell off his chair in the press box laughing at the 5-3 power play in game 1.

Because he turns the puck over constantly at the blueline resulting in odd man rushes....he also cant finish...
- Chapsz28

and that is why he was an unsignable 3 plus million dollar man a few weeks ago, and you were probably not objecting.

Truth. It's a bit late in the day to talk about fixing the PP. That's a project for another year.
- Tugboat

Completely agree...anything out the PP would be a complete friggin' shocker, and a wonderful surprise...

...but I expect zip in reality.

Strong PK, score 5 on 5, Hawks win the cup...

...it's easy!

Overreact much? Hawks are in the Stanley Cup for the 2nd time in four years, but we're going to question the FO? They lost a game, it happens. It's not the end of the world. They got out played 3 periods out of 9, but we're going to get are butts kicked in Boston? Can the real fans please stand up? What are we New York?

chris Kelley of the boston bruins wearing a U.S army ranger fatigues in his press conference is down right terrible, dude you are a hockey player, but you aren't frighting for my freedom, he even has a boston patch on his right arm, just terrible.

Apparently Bollig is not a locker room cancer...so there's that.
- Ogilthorpe2

The legend grows, now we know for certain what happened with 25 and it is all on him right? Love to see where everyone is just so sure of it.

Typical Chicago fan stuff, its better to believe and hype blame a rumor, then it is to simply look at the teams record when a certain line up plays.

Maybe Q can ask 19 if he could get the other guys to look the other way and let 25 play again. I mean this cancer may be effecting JTs offense.

Cmon Ogi...I know you are much better than all that.

Anything less than a Cup WIN for this team is failure.

End of story.

I like to give the guy the benefit of the doubt (I'm very high on Hjalmarsson), but that's pretty much how I saw it too.

CC hasn't given up a "softie" since the Detroit series. As they say, it's a fast game and the other guys want to win too.

It's easy to complain from your sofa. If you're lookin' for perfection, better stop watching hockey because you will always be disappointed.

Without CC the Hawks are down 2, or better yet not even in the finals.

i love your attitude. that is way to be. anyone can fire up and angry easily, but it takes a person a special trait to enjoy hockey through the ups and downs.

I thought Stalberg was playing well in the Wild series. Have no idea why he was benched. He hasn't been as effective since then. With that said, I'd still rather have Stalberg in the lineup. The guy is still a threat to score and make things happen with his speed. Bollig is not a threat to do anything but eat up minutes to give other guys a rest. Not sure I even saw him throw any hits tonight, which I assume is why Q put him in the lineup. I realize Stalberg has a tendency to turn the puck over and can be maddening at times, but I still want that threat in the lineup over Bollig. I have to wonder what Bowman Jr. thinks about the move since Stalberg was one of his first trades and a guy he specifically targeted.
- RetiredGoalie

Q decided, without a failure, that what worked all year for the Hawks, could not possibly work vs Detroit or Boston....It is pure comedy how so many refuse to connect the dots.

any way you look at it, I believe that stalberg is back in for game three and we go back to the lines that finished off the kings............ q needs to stop out coaching himself and keep poop simple, if the hawks keep it simple and play like they know how to no one will beat us.

I respect your high aspirations, but that's setting the bar pretty high. I want the Hawks to win as much as anybody else, but to say anything less is a failure
is kind of crazy. Besides, it's one game. Did you expect the Hawks to sweep

Army Rangers jacket given to Andrew Ference by Army Rangers, they give it to the player of the game in the dressing room from the players, they are then normally wearing it during post game presser.

Please start writing your own blog, I mean the depth of your analysis is overwhelming. I mean, you have one go to line and ......crickets.

The funniest part to me is watching people double down on stupidity even after they are proven wrong over and over and over....but please, go ahead and tell us that what we witness in success and statistics is some sort of cosmic anomaly. That CC is only bailed out by his defense, not that he has bailed them out more.

And no, this is not an endorsement of CC as the best goalie in the world, but rather an objective assessment of what...get this...He has actually done!...

Look, I was against his benching to begin with, but apparently there is a reason for it. Victor StaHlberg sitting tonight is not the reason they lost. They lost because the whole team played like crap, and the Hawks couldn't bury the B's early when they actually had scoring chances. The B's out played us big time for 2+ periods, and got the benefit of a Hawk goal taken off the board. StaHlberg wouldn't have been the difference.

Then for the most part, we should just draw names from a hat each night. The only thing we know for sure is that had he played, it would not have mattered. I just disagree with the logic that we know that no matter what...25 is not the answer. Not picking at you, but then why did he play at all during the season?

I do get your point on getting out played, but will contend that all roster spots mean something. Otherwise you and/or I could coach. You take the power play if that happens....
