Out of your fricking mind. The bruins were hacking, wacking, and cross checking (often in the head) all night long.

You can blame the refs if you want to and it makes you feel better. You'll still be wrong, but if you don't know your wrong it won't matter.

We all knew this would be a close series. As good as I felt after the game 1 comeback I still knew it wouldn't be easy. I wouldn't be surprised to see these teams alternate wins throughout the series with Chicago winning in game 7.

Actually they won 2-1, but the refs blow, so.... Yeah.
- Ogilthorpe2

No argument from me. I agree it was a poope call, but the Hawks let up after the end of the period.

Phantom whistles being blown, phantom penalties behind the play, man in the crease obstructing a goalie's ability to make the save...

We should be used to this routine by now.

#Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews: "We just kind of let them play their way and we didn’t make them earn it. That’s a little disappointing."

Boston didn't EARN IT ? Toews is DELUSIONAL.

- philco28

Toews himself was not good tonight and THAT was disappointing. Love the kid, but on all three of their PP's, he lost the opening face-off in the offensive zone and the Hawks spent most of the rest of those PP's trying to get back into the offensive zone. He was a non factor offensively as well. Look, I know he gives everything he has, so I'm not upset by his effort and I know he does a lot of the little things, but one goal in 19 playoff games is not getting it done. This game was not on just him though. Several other of our better players were silent tonight (Hossa, Kane, Bickell) The Hawks won the first game based on the strength of their third line. Boston shut that line down tonight and the big guns couldn't compensate.

They absolutely let up. The Hawks played like sh!t. And if they had lost by more than one, in regulation, I would be giving props to Boston. But considering they played like sh!t, and still played well enough to have a 2-1 lead at the end of 60 minutes, you're damn right I'm phucking bitter.

play the f^&king line that got you there, stop over coaching , put toews and kane together and watch magic happen, and put stalberg back in the line up and sit bollig, its time to stop playing favorites and put the people out there that will win you a cup

Too many guys coughing pucks up on the boards, in our end, in the neutral zone and at their blue line. If you can't get it out and get it deep CONSISTENTLY...you deserve to lose.

What a shock, no mention of turnover by Bollig, and we pin this one on Saad and CC.

Wondering, does 20 blocked shots count as bail out points for Rask?

It is OK to call out good players for not getting it done. Toews may very well be playing with a broken wrist etc...but if you are playing, get something done.

IMO, the answer to the power play is less structure and more ad lib. You take all these creative guys and put them on a strato matic board and they move in 2 patterns. I said earlier in the year, give them the option to score on the rush.

WTF is Bickell not on PP?

He was, but StaHlberg is just as capable (maybe more so) of turning that puck over as Bollig is.

The player is the crease refers to the Blackhawks first goal tonight, right?

On replay on the goal, Toews jams the goalie into the net...no way that goal should have ever been allowed, but don't let that ruin a good narrative.

Toews was trying to play Holmstrom at times on the pp...but that's not his game...his effort is ALWAYS there, but he's got to get more selfish and start using that WICKED WRISTER of his. He passes TOO much.

Well, hopefully the Hawks are bitter as well and untuck their Wesley Willis' s from behind their legs.
