More a problem of not moving their feet at all if you ask me, which you didn't.

I don't see a lineup change coming.

The thing to keep in mind the Hawks were not picked as a top 4 teams to win the Cup by anything I read before the season began. I don't think they were included in as a top 3 favorite in the West.

The perception of disappointing season is based on the great regular season results which were not expected to begin with...

Very true.....I saw quite a few Bruins-Blues Cup predictions. Hell, even towards the end of the Hawks streak this season I read that Pierre LeBrun felt that the Blues were still the team to beat in the West.

Al, i was right in front of you guys, I saw more than once, the minute looch or horton came near some of these guys on the wall or behind the nets, they moved aside, I saw 4,10 7 &, & , & big 29 do it more than once! keep the line up the same , which Q probably will , but my post was more meant for once this is all said & done in a couple of weeks.

I think Stan could have been gone with another 1st round loss. I would guess it would have been 50/50 odds if the Hawks lost to the Wings.
- EKolb13

StanBo and Q both get deserved extensions however, the only wrinkle I see is a possible battle of wills.....

Does StanBo tell Q Kompon is fired because of PP (even though I don't think it's his fault) and if that happens does Q call StanBo's bluff....

Whether it gets him fired or not, I don't know. But Quenneville has already been set up to take the blame—look at how many here continually ram home the President's Trophy. I guarantee you that's what Stanley will do and then "we underachieved in the playoffs."

As though the regular season and the playoffs are necessarily the same thing.

- John Jaeckel

JJ, don't follow on the take the fall thing, why does someone have to take the fall for losing in the SCF's. I actually feel like an extension is guaranteed.

It is one thing when the juice heads like Lucic and Horton line you up and crush you, but every other Bruin forward is about the same size as most of the Hawks. Man Up. Bickell really needs to step up. Even though shaw wasn't as good yesterday, he has really been playing the body

It is one thing to fight. That is really scary dropping the gloves, but it doesn't take guts to get pissed off at all of them hitting you and just start hitting back. I agree about keeping Q and dumping his friends. Will he agree about dumping his friends? Nashville got a good one in phil Housley. I always wanted to keep steve smith for the D but that ship has sailed.

I wouldn't put much stock in the BR, unless they're quoting somebody reliable. That being said, I like these lineups. The third and fourth lines could be interchangeable with regards to ice time.

Wow so the sky is falling and everyone's fired and traded again huh? This is starting to remind me of Montreal!

A couple of points:

1. I think Stalberg will be in tonight and play his best game of the season. If being in the final, plus being benched, plus a new contract doesn't motivate him he's most likely clinically dead.

2. I've been a big fan of our 4th line of fro, krugs and bollig all year, but if we're gonna be fair about calling guys out on their mistakes, Bollig had a horrible giveaway that led to the Paille goal.

3. Its 1-1! We got this! The 1st period of game 2 showed that the hawks can dominate the bruins when they want to. They will get the split in bean town, and win in 6.
