#Blackhawks' Jonathan Toews: "We just kind of let them play their way and we didn’t make them earn it. That’s a little disappointing."

Boston didn't EARN IT ? Toews is DELUSIONAL.

Sounds more like a Crosby quote than a Toews quote lol

Series tied at 1. Hawks 1, Refs 1.

Meh, I'm not blaming the refs. Seabrook was lucky he didn't get a breakaway penalty called on that slash.

I'd rather they let stuff go, then call everything. The Hawks got away with a lot as well. It's been a great, and stressful, first two games.

Refs had nothing to do with it dude...you guys deserved it.

Was it a tough no call? Sure, but notice NO ONE here is complaining about the brutal slash Seabrook had on Marchand and then Shaw clearly tripped up Chara once with no call. Refs miss calls both ways.

Boston beat the hell out of us tonight, case closed...our defensive people (other than 1 guy) looked absolutely scared of getting hit tonight. Boston exercised their physical will and we better sack up and soon..

Congrats on win...now hope we get one up there.

I know no one has more than our THREE

The Hawks lost 2-1. In many ways, there was luck involved in the game 1 win. Guess what there was luck involved in today's loss. The Bruins are a very good but they are not an offensive juggernaut. The Hawks pp is a mess but it doesn't mean they should give up on it. Sure, the it will be tough in Boston but the Hawks can win at least one in Boston.

Rask definitely out shone Crow tonight...but no complaints about Crow from me tonight. He gave us every chance.

Crazy game guys, OT again, Bruins were sleeping in the first and it it wasn't for Rask you'd have run them outta the building.

as predicted gonna be hell of a series

It was funny listening to a certain sports radio station during the week, as to how fast they felt the Hawks would dispatch the Bruins based on game 1. They must have watched a different game, as the Hawks could easily be down 2-0. The Bruins pretty much controlled the game after the first period, and they looked like they were on the powerplay for most of the O.T. Should Chicago not win one of the next two, they're done. Same guys willing to go into the dirty areas, and the same guy not willing. Wonder if Stalberg gets released from the dog house.

I have no problem with Q playing Bollig as long as he HITS. He had a nice game in game 1 but tonight meh. If Bollig is not going to hit Q might as well put Stalberg back in the line up. At least he has a chance to score .

Boston is great. No team is better at the constant clutch-and-grab slow down the skill and speed teams. The hawks really beat themselves. How many unforced errors and giveaways? Boston just wants it A LOT more. At least tonight. Hawks just don't look like they have any urgency. Very disappointed. Hossa and sharp were involved in the 1st period then disappeared. Toews and Kane no-shows in both games. Shaw-Bolland-Bickell had bad games. Frolik and Kruger only consistently good hawks both games and they get the least amount of icetime?

Out of your fricking mind. The bruins were hacking, wacking, and cross checking (often in the head) all night long.

Too many guys coughing pucks up on the boards, in our end, in the neutral zone and at their blue line. If you can't get it out and get it deep CONSISTENTLY...you deserve to lose.

JJ- im so sick of you saying Crawford didn't do this or didn't make a save, the damn dude is playing way above what anyone has expected all year...... he has been at the top of every goaltending stat from the start of season. give credit where credit is due...... he is the reason why we made it to OT tonight...... heres another thing, Boston looked terrible against Toronto , the only thing the maple leafs had over boston is team speed, and what do we do, Q benches one of the fastest players in the league for bollig, just terrible, stally opens up space ad has a big body and offense skill. I would be willing to bet that stally chips that puck out and we are still playing, but no that didn't happen because bollig just waved and cost us the game..... I know you cant blame one player but still

So far every time the Hawks have thrown up a stinker in the effort department they have come out and answered the bell in the next game. Lets hope that trend continues.

I'll take Ben Smith. I know he'll battle and not pleasure skate and chirp at his coach.
