He'll probably get the same return Staal did, maybe more considering the competition and whether or not Pit gives the other team a window to negotiate a contract.
8th
Ennis
insert decent prospect here.
Edit: Didn't Shero already say that Fleury isn't going anywhere? - Sabresfan-365
isnt ennis a center? pens dont need centers and not sure if they would want ennis if they somehow keep iginla
but yes shero said he is keeping fleury, but if there is a deal to be made im sure that can change |

It's not like Monahan sucks or anything
Plus he's bigger than Lindholm and Canadian...
I can totally understand your fan base wanting him more
Plus, I'm sure most have gotten to see him play since he's a WHL guy
Lindholm they prob only know from scouting reports for the most part
Either way,
You'd get a good player
I just happen to really like Lindholm - jdfitz77

5-Drouin ( that's if tampa takes Nichushkin at 3 )
7- Lindholm
8- Shinkaruk
11-Bo
14- Pulock
16-Zadorov
19-Kerby Rychel
- gerbe75pts
Very forward heavy there
I'd love to see us trade up into the late 1st with the 2nds we have to try and get a guy like Rychel, or if Mantha falls into the 20s like I keep seeing (not sure why though?)
Don't like Zadorov all that much, but can't argue if we get him at 16...
I've seen him picked as the #2 defenseman off the board in some mocks
Shinkaruk is scaring me the more I read up on him
Lots of questions whether he can play the same game in the NHL at his size, and not sure how much more weight he can put on & still skate like he does...

Edit: I don't know what everyone's deal with his size is (especially those here that wrongly compare him to Ennis) he's 5'11 and 175. Sure he's not Milan Lucic but he's not exactly Gerbe and even the Bruins have small guys with good hands. Everyone wants all these huge players because we've been a small team for so long , but if he's skilled and can help your team long term why the (frank) not? |

I'm still waiting for Crawford to pull a Leighton... - FLflames34
He's def better than that
But if they lose the Cup, I could see them interested in Miller...
IF
1) we take on half his salary/cap# for this season
AND
2) miller will sign an extension with them at a discount, something like 5mil per for 5yrs

Cant see that one happening either, they will be too worried about getting Toews and Kane extended this summer, signing Leddy and Kruger as RFAs, and being so close to the cap, they wont be spending excessive money on miller |

True. I wasn't sold on Crawford until the massive glove save in Game 1. I always thought he was a product of his team. He still is...but is much better than I thought. Even if they lose, he will be their starter next yr. Too much money invested in the front end. |

That didn't do anything to sway my opinion
There's guys every year that play in the CHL at 175lbs and do great, but once they get to the NHL, where everything is bigger and faster, it just doesn't translate...
Not many guys can get into the dirty areas & score consistently at that size
And with him being smaller, there is more of an injury risk
Not saying he WILL be a bust
But his size does make me nervous |

For every small guy who couldn't compete with the size of the NHL, there's a big guy who couldn't keep up with the speed. Plenty of big skaters out there who could find it just as hard to keep up with the game. IMO, guys who are projected to go top 10 will find a way to adapt because their skill set is a cut above the rest of their draft class. |

Crawford is their guy guaranteed next season. ITs a different story 2014 offseason depending on their cap situation after they get their key pieces extended and figure out if they need to poop out either Sharp or Hossa for roster stabilit |

That's true
Also the reason Zadorov scares me
If we have a bunch of 1sts, then I don't mind the gambles...
But if we only have a few,
I'd look to minimize the risk as much as possible w the picks |

Lindholm is also 5'11 and I happen to like him A LOT
It's not just size,
It's the style he plays as well
If he bulks up, it very well could hurt how effective he is
That happened with Myers, remember?
It's not like I think he'll be a bust,
But it is a concern |

I'm more concerned w how Myers plays in his own zone
We need him to become a "shutdown" guy - jdfitz77
Thaf is like saying I want crosby to lead the team in hits...
Sure it'd be great... but thays not what got him to the nhl. |

miller is the better goalie, but not by a huge margin, but he is also getting older and on a 1yr deal so unless he is extended then i doubt he would get a big return, while fleury has sucked lately in the playoffs (big time) he still was very good in both finals and the run up to the finals and since he is still young its possible he can get back to those numbers, miller while an above average (not elite) goalie hasnt shown lately what he can do in the playoffs , but his little temper tantrums may fit in nicely with the pens - dmarsden2988
Remind me again. How old is Brodeur . Miller is just coming into his prime for a goaltender !

at same age miller isnt in same tier as brodeur, brodeur has done more when he was 39-40 than miller has done
miller wont get as much as many trade proposals in here have been saying |

gotta agree. some of these offers look as though we are under the impression that miller is a top 5 goalie. sorry, but he isn't. i think we target a team in contention (pittsburgh?) that may be willing to let go of a solid prospect and a pick. probably a 2014 pick.. |
