lundqvist is the only reason we made it past the capitals. he wasn't his sharpest against the bruins for sure but nobody really was. girardi was like a -4 or -5 one night and totally screwed hank over that entire game and he had no goal support.

he might leave because he's tired of having to be perfect every game. if he let up 2 or more goals, he knew we would have a hard time scoring 3 or more. but that was because of torts' system so hopefully AV instills more offense.

i'd put getzlaf and maybe perry in C but yea i'd put kopitar and a guy like bobby ryan and evander kane at D.

not saying he's terrible. he's a class C player with guys like toews and kane and whatnot. that's pretty damn good. i just think JT is better.

you seriously underestimate the amount of talent giroux plays with compared to the amount of talent JT players with. if they switched teams, JT would put up ridiculous numbers and giroux wouldn't do anywhere near as good as he has on the flyers.

Well there is only so many NHL jobs...Ruff is not Scotty Bowman,I wouldn't be too picky unless I was okay with a Scouting job for the time being. Ruff was a hot coach around the same times that Hasek and Miller were hot goalies.

Joe Finley. He had his moments, but overall he didn't work out. Only got into 16 games. He's under contract through next season but I doubt he sees any real time with the big club.

No I wasn't. I said that RNH is underestimated and people should watch him closer. He "could" get to that status as he has the skills...but so do a lot of guys. You need the whole package to get to that level. JT, Stamkos, Crosby I'd trade straight up for ANYONE.

He is too selfish, has no motivation or internal fire, and he looks like no one ever even taught him how to play in his own zone. Malkin's type of cancer in a team locker room is very damaging to the long term cohesion of a dressing room. Just my opinion.

i don't have blinders on. im as glass is half empty as they come.

hall is dominant and is way underrated. another top ten in scoring next year and a playoff birth would go a long way in changing that though

Agreed. Hall doesn't get the respect simply because his team isn't a playoff team yet. Tavares had a breakthrough as did his team.
I like Seguin, but the Taylor vs Tyler debate is laughable now. Even Leaf and non Leaf fans are starting to applaud the Kessel trade.

Oh Hell yeah.But that contract extension is awful, and 3-4 years down the Road when he stars to fade a bit, Ebs,Hall,RNH,and Yak might all be more valuble players..Oilers could use him, but there would be nothing left to fill the defensive needs.
