a healthy Crosby would play around 70+ games 100+ pts

plays 82 120

Middle of C and D. If he had better guys, he could be B in a few years

at scoring points, yes crosby is the best player in the nhl. but datsyuk has other aspects to his game that crosby doesn't have like the hands and finesse and the defense. those can arguably balance him out with crosby.

oh and off topic but
@TSNBobMcKenzie: While some minor contract details are still to be finalized, Alain Vigneault has an agreement to be NYR head coach.

- rangerdanger94

That move could work out nicely for u guys
I think with all those contracts coming up though, that this might have to be the year for you...
is there really talk that Lundqvist might not sign an extension there?
That would be surprising, and of course really set u guys back quite a bit
He might have had a little bit of a rough season,
But he's still as good as it gets overall
Losing him would be a heck of a hole to fill

No they played pp together and ennis took pommers spot at the end of the year.
- Djtyczy

I cant recall the sabres scoring many PP goals. majority of Ennis goals were scored when vanek was not on the ice.

I don't need to see the article a healthy sidney crosby nobody is better
- gerbe75pts

umm ok. so ur not interested in hearing the opinion of many of those who actually play against them?

anyway, it wasnt about who's better per se. it was a retort that no one is in Crosby's class and i disagreed. datysuk is very comparable imo.

JT would be a 100 point scorer with hartnell and voracek on his line. and giroux is sooo good that he single handedly lead his team to the playoffs unlike tavares with the islanders this season, right?

i wouldn't buy into the talk. he was interviewed on break up day and was asked about his contract situation and all he said was, "i still have another year here so i'm gonna wait to see what the team looks like when my contract is up and talk to my agent."

and then the media blew it up to him wanting to leave NY and whatnot.

obviously, if he left, we'd be totally screwed. but i think he'll stay. he loves the NYC lifestyle and loves the rangers and we're only getting closer and closer to winning a cup imo with how much talented youth we have on the roster.

not sure i'd say he had a rough season. he was stellar and might win the vezina tonight.

Comparing apples and oranges. 2 totally different players
I'd say they're on the same level. Girouxs proven more up to this point. JT also younger and could end up better. Right now I call it a draw or slight edge to Giroux

How did that giant defenseman u picked up on waivers from us do this year?
I'm totally blanking on his name
Liked his physicality when he was with us,
But he needed a lot of work on his skating

I can't see the team in Vancouver listening to Torts. Kesler would be his golden boy, but other than that I think the rest of the team would tune him out pretty quickly.

Rough start, and disappointing playoffs...
I'd be surprised if he left too,
But I'd also be very concerned if an extension isn't worked out this summer

well let me put it this way. if 30 teams in the nhl had a choice between JT or Giroux in a fantasy draft, 29 would pick JT.
