No i wouldnt lol, but i wouldnt trade JT or stamkos straight up for RNH, not even RNH and 7th. He will be good, but not a top 3 center in the league.
- Djtyczy

You would not take RNH over Cody ? that's being a homer imo

RNH is going to be good i would say 90pt player someday

crosby , stamkos , JT are in a deffrent class

- gerbe75pts

Crosby is. Maybe even Stamkos. But I can see RNH as a top 5 C in his league, but it's a few years from now.

id be ok with him being a step behind those very elite players.
90 pts!! Ill take it.

Tavares is amazing and the hart winner imo. but I think some over estimate his points abit.
hall has a better ppg in both career and this year than he does. but somehow one is a true superstar and the other gets mixed reviews. strange how perception works sometimes

- hugefemale dog77

hall's linemates aren't matt moulson and brad boyes though

and despite having a better ppg, was hall able to single-handedly carry his team into the playoffs?

"if" only it was that easy
- gerbe75pts

Yes, "if" darcy is smart, he has a great opportunity for a speedy rebuild.

Same here, this draft is a deep as 2003. Stockpile top prospects this year (we should be able to get 4), suck next year, get ekblad. Suck the next year, win the lottery and get mcdavid. rebuild would only be 2-3 years
- Djtyczy[/img]

It also wouldn't surprise me if we took on a bad contract, like Bryzgalov or DiPietro, in order to gett assets back as well
It's not my $$$, but Pegula seems like a guy that will do just about anything to win the cup
And taking on deals like that should get us at least 1st, if not more

No, i would rather have RNH, but this guy is putting RNH in the same discussion as JT, Stamkos, and Crosby which he clearly is not worthy of being just over .50 ppg this year.

no they've been a mixed bag of sam gagner, horcoff., eberle, hemsky etc.

as I said he's the hart trophy winner imo. but they have a better team than the oilers did. the oil just happen to have some flashier/sexier names.

anyways, I wont use decent linemates as a reason to penalize hall in any debate.
he was the best player on both his team or whatever line he happened to play on

Yea, i left that out by mistake, we will take a big contract and buy it out. Maybe even if pittsburgh moves pn from fluery, we give them miller, we buy out fluery so they can get him back and they give us 2 of harrington, pouliot, maatta.

i love hall and i didn't mean to sound aggressive if i did. i was just saying that JT isn't overrated. if anything, he's still underrated (not winning the hart proves that).

hall will be in the same sentence as JT in a few years. just not yet.

U think Malkin is a step above Stamkos?
I could listen to an argument he's better, but not that much...
That's just semantics though

We don't really talk much about what to do at 16
Anyone in particular u are hoping for?
Guys like Erne & Mantha are interesting to me there

Easiest way to suck next year is leave all these players drafted in juniors or whatever league they are in. Move Miller and if Vanek doesn't want to stay then move him to. Get as many 1st rounders this year and the rebuild could be very quick.

I wasn't saying jt was overrated. I was saying hall is way underrated.

at the moment. il put hall in that third tier of your rankings I agreed with.
and not far from the 2nd

U think u guys hang on to Richards?
I know u have a bunch of guy due pretty decent raises after next year
Unless the cap goes up significantly,
I think you'll have to get creative if u wanna keep Richards as well?

Yea, many interesting guys at 16. If we want a goalie, fucale would be a GREAT pick. At D, Pulcok, Morin, Zadorov (we would probably have to pick between 10-14 for). At F, Erne, Wennberg, shinkurak, Horvat. Many different directions to go, I say take the #1 guy on the board when we pick.

being honest, i don't watch hall enough to tell you if you've got your blinders on or not for sure. imo, from what i've seen, hall is just about to enter the third tier but isn't quite there yet this season. he will be though next season or the season after. but again, that's just going off what i've seen from him. not sure he can really compete with guys like JT and stamkos and what not until he's a few years older and his body has filled out and he's stronger.

but i understand where you're coming from. when you watch a player every single game of the season, you know their talent level a lot more than fans of other teams. i feel the same way about mcdonagh when i say i wouldn't trade him for weber or chara and everyone laughs at me.

maybe now but when datsyuk was in his prime and even just last season, he was certainly in crosby's class.
