I like him i just don't think he will go first next year
- gerbe75pts

He won't but then again we will probably lose the 1st pick in the lottery knowing our luck so, we'll take him at second or third

What does that say?

the # Sabres offer Ryan Miller, 8th choice, Mikhail Grigorenko and one prospect for the first choice.

I think the prospect would be a defensive one

Alright sabres fan's, were not winning the cup next year. We need to trade miller and vanek in separate deals for top 15 picks and top prospects or both of them to get drouin or barkov.

At 8, we should hope for nichuschkin, lindholm, monohan, or shinikurak.

Trade miller and our 2nd second to Phoenix for 12th and gromley. Draft Zadorov, shinkurak, ristolinian, or wennberg.

Trade vanek and our 1st second to winnepig (they were all over him at the deadline) for 13th and trouba or schiefiele. Draft ristolinian, domi, pulock, or horvat.

At 16th, draft fuclae, morin, erne, or martha.

THIS IS A DREAM DRAFT IF DARCY COMMITS 100% TO THE REBUILD.

SUCK THE NEXT 2 YEARS, GET EXBLAD AND MCDAVID. (At this point I will probably wake up from my dream.)

Yes, it would likely be Pysyk. MacKinnon will be great, but the difference between him and Barkov or Monahan isnt miller, 8th, grigorenko, and pysyk.

Weighing statistical measures O-zone%, RelQoC and Corsi Rel, Tyler Ennis was the Sabres' best two-way forward. So.....

Ruff hasn't been hired yet? Just furthers everyone's point on just how awful of a coach he really is.

I look at it this way. Miller is as good as gone anyway and with one year left on his contract he won't get what some Sabres fans are hoping, MacKinnon is most likely a few notches better than Grigs, So is trading the 8th and pysyk worth those few notches, especially when great players make others better. I say he potentially is so it's not as exorbitant an offer as some think.

No thats not it at all, Lindy had been offered many jobs as he is a very good coach (team canada's assistant.) lindy hasnt been hired yet because he wants whats best for his family and he wants the power Roy got in colorado. He wants basically a coach job with GM powers job.

I think he is too, but some fans just can't let go of their balls to take a chance on trading for a difference maker.

AV will think he is in a dream-world with the Rangers' roster compared to the Canucks. The Rangers WORK, the Canucks WHINE. The NYR just got a lot better, wow.

Not notches but he is better no doubt. Grigs would have been top5 if he wasnt russian and he didnt get namonia. MacKinnon is NOT worth 8th, miller, pysyk, grigorenko for a rebuilding team. Thats 3 top prospects and miller who will get a good return for one incredible prospect. Were better off sucking for Mcdavid.

Mcdavid will be MUCH better then MacKinnon. Craig button already said if Mcdavid was eligible this year, he would go #1

Based on what I heard there was a lot of grumblings on how Lindy handled Team Canada in the IIHF World Tourny, I wouldn't be surprised if that had some affect on what people have been thinking.

the oilers don't want miller. they have a younger goalie, with a better contract, that had better numbers behind a worse defence.
not saying dubnyk is better than miller, but with all things considered he's a better fit for the oilers.

plus, goalie is like our 5th most pressing need. we'll look for a cheaper backup or someone to push dubs, but that's it.

we'll be using our most tradeable assets (7th etc) to acquire other pieces. namely a top 4 defencemen or size in the top 6 etc.

u want our 7th? myers is the guy we're interested in

7+ for myers

- hugefemale dog77

T O T A L L Y disagree. Miller would be awesome, wow. Dubnyk is not a #1 'tender and a new one is HIGH on the wish list.
