I just read something hilarious (and completely irrelevant) about Dallas Eakins as a player. He was once traded by Mike Milbury from the Islanders to the Blackhawks for future considerations. |

I've honestly never watched a game where Schneider player well, but the stats speak for themselves - TheNugeIsHuge
Me neither. Then again I only really saw him the Oilers this year (and he stunk) and a couple playoff games against the Sharks where he wasnt too special. But if the Canucks wanna label him as top goalie, who am I to argue? |

you know whos mad is brian burke look what he did with Toronto then when his plan comes together he is thrown out, being friends with Wilson killed his job should have made coaching change sooner but they lucked out that Carlyle worked out so well but don't get me wrong he is a great coach. oilers should have hired burke and macT should have coached. lets hope macT does as much as a GM as he did as a no take poop coach just ask Harvey the hound and dustin penner. |

I think the worst the player the better the coach though, which is why im interested to c how roy does in Colorado but he does have a different advantage he is a goalie which is going to be great to see him go ape sh&t on the bench like he did on the ice. |

Really?Let's give the Leafs a full season to how great a job Burke did. After 48 games the Leafs were in a playoff position last year as well. |

that's awesome jagr just said he was his favorite player growing up, its good to see ppl having fun instead of being robots on the interviews during playoffs, not the player he once was but good luck getting the puck from him just doesn't have the wheels anymore |

he did a great job with Toronto they finally broke there 9 year no playoff draught that would make me happy even if 48 games which is what every other team played also, so whoever wins the cup doesn't count cause there was 48 games? we will see how they do with a 82 game season but burkes gone and I doubt they'll make the same choices he would have this off season. the oilers have mac T lets go but I think he would have been a great fit as a coach and burke as GM its not going to happen was just saying geez u guys take everything so serious on here |

im bored ok but b4 I read what u wrote, to not give burke most if not half the credit isn't right but kadri helped a lot coming out of nowhere compared to prier seasons, would be like magnus getting 80 pts this season plus Eakins helped in kadris development hopefully he has the same effect with are young guns. |

Wow they let the Crawford trip go and then call that one right after... The reffing in this league is so (frank)ed. Something needs to be done to hold them accountable. In no other profession in the world can you do such a poopty job and still be employed. Well unless your name is Kevin Winning Lowe. |

On Hemsky...
The Islanders are the most likley to trade for Ales Hemsky who could become quite the catch in a new market...Phoenix, Ottawa, Tampa, and Nashville are also possible
what could edm get? |

Oh,you are right, Burke deserves a lot of credit. I just don't think they are a finished product yet as far as being an annual playoff team. Maybe.Maybe not. |

anybody know how good Scott Mayfield is? Haven't heard anything about him ever so don't stone me NYI fans/prospect masters. I'd think either a pick or a B level prospect.
Maybe Johan Sundstrom?? Again. No idea |

I can see the hemsky deal involving 4 or 5 pieces either being draft picks or prospects something like this from say phoenix. hemsky and are 2nd for david schlemko and vermette helps on d and c with horcoff undecided and nuge hurt. just an example |

Don't know how interested these teams really are but if I were fielding offers I would ask about centers like Bailey(NYI) Gaustad (NAS) Or Gordon(Pho). I would ask Ottawa about Chris Neil or Colin Greening.
All these guys would be of help I think, and way better than a draft pick. |

yakupov not getting nominated this year makes about as much sense as the nuge not winning last year with 20 less games, who cares if landeskog was more physical not nuges game plus the nuge had 7 more points this year on a bum shoulder that he couldn't aim with good thing his hockey IQ is top notch and his passing also. nuge might have lost the calder but we got the better player by a mile and its going to be funny watching landeskog pass the C to jones in 2years. hope nuges shoulder works out like halls |
