Hall-Gagner-Yakupov
____-Nuge-Eberle
MPS-____-Kulemin
Smyth-____-Brown

J.Schultz-Gunnarsson
Petry-N.Schultz
Smid-Belov

Looking pretty good

- Morris

Apparently scoring chances last year for Eberle and Hall were 54% for together, and 43% for when they were apart.

Keep the Hall-RNH-Eberle line intact. Kulemin-Gagner-Yak. Kulemin played some of the tougher minutes in the league this year and quite well, so he could make up for some of Yak and Gags' defensive lapses.

Yes. But TO wouldn't/shouldn't do that. Gunnarsson>MPS, and TO's D depth is as bad as EDMs

We can come up with all the scenarios in the world, but if your like me, you can't really get a handle on any of it until the buyout period.Thats going to influence the draft. The draft pick and what we do with it will alter free agency, and then of course we have the post free agency trade period when teams gotta make room.
I can see the Oilers really do nothing but add the missing pieces through value contracts in free agency. It's likely not enough, but it could be the only real changes we see. Then again maybe Mac T blows us away with a multi player trade we didnt see coming.? Who the (frank) knows but I can't wait till the SCF is over so we can get on with it.

I'm perfectly fine with this. I think we want to blow our loads over another Superstar, when really, thats not what we need. Smart, value deals is what we gotta do, for defence first type players.

He's a good goalie but he needs to stop letting in all the weak ass goals he does. Its good that it doesn't seem to phase him, but to become a true #1 he needs to cut that down bigtime.
- Ihatebrianburke

that's true but what I saying is if he had better D he d face less shots then we d c how good he is and I think that weak goal would stop or be rare. 25 to 35 shots a game is understandable to let in a weak goal we need 15 to 25 shots then u can blame the goalie

Marchand couldn't play the same game he does in Boston on our team. There he has Lucic, Chara, Horton, Campbell, Thorton, McQaid, and Boychuk to all watch his back and stick up for him. Here who would protect him? Smid and Brown. He would get his ass whooped trying to play that kind of game here.
- Ihatebrianburke

what about Gallagher he doesn't have much back up and boston is the only team with a giant, anyone can do anything on that team but to say he wouldn't play that chippy style on this team isn't true he would just answer for it more.

2nd most SA/G in the league, and 7th best SV%. I don't think starting goaltending is at all the problem here people.

who wins the game 2night? I think last game had to many fluky goals for the hawks and way to many easy tap ins missed by the bruins that wont happen again. im guessing bruins 4 1 just like the series. please don't blast me to hard if wrong just getting convo going lol but one big thing that could change the series is if Horton plays like he has been or is he still hurt? Horton has a crazy plus minus and that line has been unstoppable

I'm thinking Hawks in 6 or 7. CHI still outshot BOS. Rask is just too good. CHI definitely showed they can keep up with BOS's physical game (and more). Andrew Shaw has the heart of a 6'9 tank fit in to a 5'9 pipsqueak (no offence RC). I do hope Seguin finally scores though. He's getting no credit for his work done. He's got 1 goal off of 62 shots (!) in the playoffs.

Dubnyk isn't the problem. He's not a stud who can really carry a team but he's more than capable of performing well consistently as a starter with a competent defense in front of him.

1 for 62? Talk about Snake bit. I feel bad for Seguin.I wonder,in the grande scheme of things what his career will look like.Does he have a Joe Sakic like cieling, or is going to be more like Pat Falloon?

(frank)en rights, man. Ofcourse, he does need to show some improvement. I don't expect him to be Curtis Joseph, who stole 5 games a year and kept the Oil in another another dozen they didn't deserve to be. I think 5-8 less shots against would be helpful.

A stud that's gonna carry a team has the name Rask, Lundqvist, Quick, Bobrovsky(this year), Schneider, or Anderson (this year). Don't see why anyone'd trade any of em

62 shots 1 goal that's bad something to think about, what if we took seguin and boston had hall do u think he would have 1 goal in 62 shots? I think hall is getting better and wont stop but if he was drafted by boston I think he would be a superstar which he is but I mean 100 plus seasons and a playoff beast cant wait til where there he will not lose but getting there is are first step.

I'd still take Hall 9 times out of 10, but Seguin's fun to watch just not when he can't score!

I've honestly never watched a game where Schneider player well, but the stats speak for themselves
