Looks like Lindholm is listed as 184cm and 192 pounds per elite prospects and looks to be about 6'0.5 here. Could grow to 6'1 and 200 pounds which means size isn't exactly an issue. From all that I was reading, he sounded like Sam Gagner who is 5'10 - 5'11. This guys is only about a cm smaller than Galchenyuk and perhaps the same weight. Granted Galchenyuk is broad. Lindholm is not slightly built from this pic though.

Kulemin has good possession stats, has a sick wrister, is a fast skater, and he's great defensively. Lacks physicality and is kinda inconsistent, but he'd at least be a 20-20 guy with Nuge and Eberle.
- MaximumBone

If someone is playing with Nuge and Ebs they better get a lot more points than 20-20

I generally never try the full monty like this cause there's so may variables. but I don't think ive far fetched much as far as guys that could potentially be interested in edm. and still given every FA a decent-healthy raise depending

and I really think this is a very solid, bigger, tougher, more talented lineup.
myers is kinda the key

Smyth has heart, don't buy him out. He's gonna have a great season next year, watch.

20-20 would be fine if they brought that physical element. A big LW like Foligno out of Buffalo could be a good compliment and could score 20-20 with them. I think those expectations would be fair personally.

No remember, I said the younger ones are a turn off cause they are morons, lack experience or any use of common sense, and their prefrontal cortex's are not fully developed, meaning they do not yet have the ability to think of consequences of actions before they make them. Sooooooooo not into that dude. So stop wishing I was and trying to flatter yourself you little CD!!!

Letang won't be traded to edm for equal salary. The whole point of pit. Possibly trading him is because they won't be able to sign Him next year. Any trade for Letang will be for draft picks and prospects. Do believe ebs is in play though

Why waste a 23 year old Top Line RW, for a highly skilled offensive defenseman, but cannot make a decent defensive play.

We need a Top 2 Defensive Defenseman.

Smyth is going to have a good year?? - spare us the bullpoop, the guy is over-the-hill & has nothing left in the tank. The only reason he's not receiving a buyout is because Lowe has a hard-on for him.

Such language from a punk - your momma needs to wash your mouth with soap.

Agreed. That's why the ebs / Letang trade doesn't make sense for either team

No but Letang for Klefbom & the 7th overall sure does!!

Some people are simply over-hyping the 7th pick, the Oilers don't need that pick, they need immediate help & that is the ammunition needed to get something.

I'd be offering the pick straight across for Wayne Simmonds - in a heartbeat. A player who puts up points, is a power forward & is tough - on a line with Ebs & Nuge, how is that not a major upgrade??

And you seriously need to leave Clouts' blogs. Because no one cares what you say.

And seriously? Remember how Renney used him and he got 19 goals?

I wish I still had my old sega genesis to play that game. I remember there was that one spot when you were skating up right around the blue line where every time you'd shoot it would go in. Such high scoring games wed have playing with cheapies.

There ya go. Now your talking hockey.

Klefbom should be traded away for a Top Pairing defensive defenseman, IMO

But 7th for Simmonds straight up, I'd take that any day.

Both trades I would do, however, Simmonds is a RW. So we would have Simmonds, Yakupov, and Eberle.... maybe Hemsky LOL, but you get my drift. I think if we are looking for that big winger, maybe we look for a LW.

Then you run

Hall Gagner Yak
Big LW Nuge Ebs

Edit: I've thrown out sending a low round pick for Kyle Beach before.

Now maybe Simmonds can play LW, but I haven't seen it yet.

I really like the idea of this trade:

Gagner and the 7th for Dubinsky, Jenner, and the 14th overall

I talk hockey until someone spews garbage to me & that's what you did on this entire blog, I didn't start spewing back at you until you started this tirade.

Now if we can both come to an understanding, let's continue to talk hockey & let the rest disappear but because I don't agree with you or anyone else's opinion & say somethiing that might upset the apple cart, I really don't care because blogs are going to have disagreements but that also doesn't make anyone a troll because they say something negative about the Oilers or any team for that matter.

Finally a couple of folks who are done with the draft. 7th is more valuable to other teams than us. The rebuild phase using the draft is over. We need to start adding pieces to compliment what we already have. Adding muscle an toughness make our young players better. The only way we can do this without losing our young guns is trading picks. This year and next and adding prospects or guys like Hemsky who have limited trade value alone

I think you can fit Simmons in nicely even if it's not on the top line. But whether it's Simmonds or Clarkson or Callahan or D.Brown - I mean these are the players the Oilers badly need. Yes I know the latter two won't be coming our way anytime soon however I think the first two could especially Clarkson via free agency but it's going to cost 4.5 to 5 million per to get him to sign.

You're not missing much. Promise. The ones that they got when they first brought Octane in, .

However you are 14 years old. At that age, guys will hump a door knob if it has a reflection of a good looking girl
