If that is in fact Joel Armia, we need him on the team immediately. A 'stache that macho would inspire the Sabres, and lead us to glory.

When he rode his stick past the Swedish bench after his shootout goal I knew he was a keeper He will probably be the funniest guy on the team and I'm willing to bet he goes after one of the BN reporters at least once in his career with the sabres.

You and me both. My biggest fear, more so then him being a bust, is him getting traded before he plays a single game for the sabres and then dominating the NHL

Go ahead and laugh, I described you perfectly. You just troll so many people.

You should contribute something once in awhile besides the obvious or flaming those who have the guts to try and put out discussion ideas.

At the very least stay in your own sandbox if you can't act like an adult.

IMO, you have to give a 1st rounder a chance before you even THINK about trading them.

don't want millers contract. not only does he cost too much, but he could bolt on us in a year.

plus we have a goalie, and contrary to popular belief, he's not the problem.
good numbers behind a terrible defence, good contract, and still developing. still lets in some softies, but im far from ready to give up on him.
we'll go after a cheaper backup or someone that can compete with dubnyk, but that's as far as we'll go for goaltending.

we'll use our assets like the 7th to go after much bigger needs like defence. guaranteed

pysyk is interesting, but not enough. and a throw in shouldn't interest mact much either.

myers for the 7th + N. schultz

Do you guys have any interest in Vanek? Might be a pretty nice veteran to help your group of young guys.

Unless it's an offer you can't refuse. I mean would you not at least think about it if it meant getting Kris Letang or Bobby Ryan?

Don't worry!
We will be lucky if Darcy even moves Miller or Vanek!

I honestly still wouldn't risk it. Call me crazy, but I'd still have to give the kid a chance.

Alright Spanky!!
You don't want Miller, and we understand!
However, there is no freaking way in hell that freaking Dubynk is better than Miller!
There, I feel better now.

That was a bad pick in the first place, even he said he expected to be picked between 20 and 40. I still agree, though. No excuse to not give the guy a chance.

would be folly to have no interest in a guy like vanek. he's a snipe.
just don't think he solves enough problems. and hes not cheap.

in that position im not sure we necessarily need another scorer or someone with his talent level. some size ,grinder type with abit of skill that can create some space for nuge and ebs would do. think bickell.

myers is our target if you're looking at our 7th.
obviously we'd add more to it. that's why I added nick Schultz who's a dependable defensive player.

An overvaluing accusation coming from an Oilers fan....that's rich I can't wait till Klefbom wins the Hart/Art Ross/Norris/Vezina next year

The new generation of sabres players just seem to be all around funny/great guys with a lot of passion. After hearing the grim reaper comments from Leopold, things like this are very encouraging

miller has proven over the years that he's a top tier goalie. dubnyk hasn't.

I don't think anybody will spend too much time arguing that devan dubnyk is a better goalie than ryan miller at this point.
I think he was just referring to numbers this past season.

but either way, no real interest in miller for many reasons.
