You forgive you and forget. Wasn't long ago when Drew Doughty was on the s*&% list in LA when he held out in 2011 and demanded $7MM a year. Came into the season totally out of shape and had a season low 36 pts. Terry Murray gets fired half way through the season and next thing you know Doughty becomes the player he should be under Sutter.

Sutter was VERY average before LA's playoff run last year. There was no huge turn around when he took over- they barely got in the playoffs.

More than enough.

Myers was beyond horrible last season. He was outplayed by Rudy and Pysyk. That alone is so inexcuseable I would openly welcome a salary dump but just giving him away. I don't even care what he
"becomes". 7 million once to be the worst D-man in the league is enough.

He wasn't outplayed by those guys. Rudy and Pysyk played sheltered minutes for Rolston after Ruff was fired. Myers averaged 21 minutes a nights while playing a lot of PK time and PP. Pysyk and Rudy averaged what 15-16 min a night? Rarely on special teams. Give Myers those sheltered minutes and he looks a lot better.

You shouldn't have to shelter a 7 million dollar D-man, and 2 700k D-men with no experience should never outplay you under any circumstances.

If there were no salary cap I would say keep him, he's Pegula's problem. But with a cap he is a detriment to the roster and makes the team suck worse.
