Is there a team in need of a blogger? I wonder if blogging on here, plus my current experience would help me get a break. They're always saying they like my writing and all that jazz, but they always question whether I can make the transition into sports.
What's going to suck is in 10 years or so, I'll likely get into the business of sports and covering that crap, and be even more black-balled from covering sports from a sporting perspective. woah is me. - mykokes

Bassists? Are you serious? The best bassist in history went crazy and was killed trying to break into a night club.

I think the Avalanche actually. Buddy quit at the end of this season.
Don't quote me on that though. Take a gander for yourself. |

We have two refs but neither seems like they are especially tough. If Juice is around, he could probably take out your guy - Canada Cup

Who's, they? - Colin Dambrauskas
Well, lets see....Rogers (everytime i interview for a sports spot they pass me onto their Healthcare publications), Transcontinental (again, no THN for me, always directing me to their other publications and journals), MLSE communications department (but they pay poop), and Metroland/torstar/sunmedia always send me to their other departments. Writing about business, biotechnology and science has really pigeon holed me. And I'm not getting any younger.
I mean I could just chase the money and go and work in some organizations communications department, but I got into this hoping to do something I loved. |

thats just because they're too stupid to know any better
edit: btw.. jaco was killed outside in the alley by a bouncer when he was trying to get back into a club that the owner decided to stiff him on for that show.
also.. serious heroin addict.. bad example of the average bassist lol |

If there is a company in my field that interests you, and you want to talk to their management, just let me know and i'll get you their email and telephone #. Most I can bypass their communications department. Unless you rather talk to them to get background info. |

I've always wished that the business of sport would get more coverage.
Bob McCown had a show a few years ago.
But it just seems (to me, anyways) as a nice little niche that could get a small but rabid following. |

I don't mind him, but I don't get how he is the pinnacle of sports radio personalities in Canada.
I just don't see anything he does that makes him better than anyone else. |
