you need REM sleep, if you are just laying down for 10 hours, that not benefiting you much. I worked shift work back in the day. I made sure when I got home at 7am the room I was in was quiet and totally black. God I hated shift work, at least I know I will never go back to it after doing it.

I hear ya there Bruce.... I remember as a kid I fell while climbing a spiked fence while getting my soccer ball (could this be anymore stereotypical???)...

... anyway, when I got home, cut up to poop and covered in blood, my mother gave me a slap around the ear because "I had ruined a perfectly good shirt"

Have been on the road for the past 25 years. I have found that you can't eat that poop and remain healthy. Which is a big deal.

I received my tests back yesterday and I am all clear. No cancer found. Relief.

awesome news!

and yeah.. when we go on an extended road trip that lasts more than a night.. i usually just eat fruit, raw veggies and nuts. meat sits too heavy when you spend all that time in a vehicle

but back to the main point.. congrats man, i am happy it came back clear

Thank's guys, I was worried< I can't lie. The 32 yr old guy that has his kids in my wifes gym got other news. In fact he had to be rushed to Halifax yesterday. They figure 2 to 3 months for him. He has 3 kids, the youngest is 10 months and she spent the day at my home yesterday.

Now that is sad.

Just goes to show how much we have to look forward to and appreciate.

Def affects the personal life, I hated missing out on stuff because I was either working or tired and needed to sleep. I couldnt commit to sports team (I play 3 nights a week now), was much unhealthier. I make very good money now, and would not go back to it if they offered double my salary

Nice.

My show-stopper now when we have guests over is lobster roll sliders.

$45 for the lobster meat, and $3 for all the other ingredients.

But sooooooooo worth it.

it was ripped knees for me

and very similar reactions from my parents

i once was prying nails out of the lumber pile and the head of a nail snapped off and the crowbar hit me right in the head.. whole face covered in blood i walk inside.

Dad: "oh ffs.. what did you do? come on out side"

he then sprayed my face down with the garden house.

$5.95 per pound in the stores for live lobster here. You can drive down to the water and get them for $4.95. Markets.

What inspired you to get out of bed today and be such a cynical (frank)ing douchebag?

If the leafs are in a cup run at that point, 2 mil could count big. But hey, sounds like you've got it all figured out..

I actually think he earned a hell of lot more than I said. Not to mention the other posters. But I'll let it go.
