I think he was pretty productive....easily would be better then any other option we would have at 2nd RW. Still capable of scoring 20-30 goals, 60-80 pts in my opinion.

I think Letang is undoubtedly one of the top skilled D men in the league. But I don't think Letang solves any problems for us.

we've got a few A prospects in the PMD category. would just leave us iwth a bigger hole on the first line.

Don't necessarily disagree, and maybe I overlooked the leadership he brings.

I guess just seeing all the awful FA signings we've made over the years of older guys who are on the decline makes me skeptical. Usually the decline slope gets a lot steeper when they come to the leafs.

good justification. If beating the isles and sens makes you top 4. I would argue there are more than 2 other teams that could have avoided a sweep against boston.

Man...that was the chance to beat the Bruins. Sucked. I wanted to see the Leafs moving forward.
