My ideal off season. Don't know which top 4 LH D man EDM could get to play with J Schultz. We keep bringing up Gardiner for some reason. I wonder if Smid-J Schultz and Gardiner-Petry pairings'd work well

Yeah he'd look concussed.
You liking what you're hearing from Dallas Eakins? - Salvo
I love it. I think he's gonna turn Paajarvi into a stud. |

i love for you to enlighten me how edm obtain or acquire those pieces.

Really hoping Belov can come in and be that guy, but who knows how his game transfers over to the small ice. I still think Ference should be the guy we target to ease Belov and Klefbom into the north american game. |

Gordon, Lapierre, Kruger, goalies named, ranger, A.Hall are all free agents. Goc could be had for cheap. He's a 3C.
Kulemin and the top 4 LH D'd cost some combination of 7th overall, prospects like Marincin, Gernat, Musil, Rajala.
The players named are completely reasonable to attain |

Seconded. For sure with Paajarvi - one of the perfect Eeakins candidates. I cringe a little when people pencil him in the top six.
Yes, some improvement last year but he is still not there for any ideal top six yet.
He could be amazing for RNH too. Not saying he needs a push necessarily, I just think he could really guide a seemingly softer player like RNH into that all out tenacious competitor. Add that commitment to his game and in a few years...well we could be really happy. |

i'd love to see goc in edm, just don't know what would florida want in return. smithson cost a 4th rounder from florida.
kulemin does not cost a 1st rounder, for sure a 2nd rounder + prospect. top 4 left handed shot d-man will be the tricky one. depends who is edm after. |

Not sure....could be in the range for longest SCF ever....but it's definitely not longest playoff game ever.
There's a few that run into the fourth. |

I'd do that in a heartbeat. With TO's D depth don't know why they would though. Gunnarsson was the #3D in TO this year and had pretty good underlying numbers. Kulemin plays some of the toughest minutes in the league. He had like a .5PPG with a 35.5% OZS. I wonder how he'd do on a line with RNH and Eberle. Plus EDM gets their guy in Lazar and as I'm writing this CHICAGO FINALLY SCORES! |

meh. Franson's only good for PP. Plays soft mins. Had a bit of a lucky year. I'd rather Gunnarsson.
non physical RH D man. Already have that in J Schultz |

Hockey is a mercurial mountain.
Pitt couldn't buy a break when they were outplaying Boston at times in games 3 and four and Chicago gets that game tying goal almost 90 degree deflection off of the skate of Ference.
I picked BOS in 6 but always, in the back of my mind was that feeling that CHI will win at home, no matter what. They play confident and well at home and poop just happens for them at the United Center. |

Haha, could be worse. They could be as poop as the oilers but hey as long as they keep building the offense with small skilled guys they'll be golden! Ask the pens - SameOld
yeah, must suck to be the pens. a cup, the best player in the world on the team, pereniall contenders etc etc
if only we could aspire towards the leafs futility for 40 + years. and not just without a cup in that time. mostly brutal teams |

I know, perhaps I misread the guys armchair proposition, not sure if you know for sure, but when I hear Jake Gardiner, just the other day at an event I was at say Gunnarrson is one of the most underrated players in the league (bit of a homer comment) I would consider that deal deal without Kulemin.
We need that type of D. I mean, how much can Mac-T really expect from just the 7th pick?
I'd say a solid roster player and that teams lower first round is pretty much par. |

potter's a fine 6/7.
http://www.coppernblue.co...al-exploration-of-failure
whitney was his problem - TheNugeIsHuge
potters a decent 7. very mediocre 6.
and as much as whitney was a liability on one foot, he was also our best first passer and puck mover on the backend. we need to replace that |

I'd love Franson in a trade and Ference as a UFA
Ference-J.Shultz
Smid-Petry
Belov-Franson
Klefbom if he can make the team.
I think this is very attainable and would be a really solid group. |
