ok Eakins is god ur right, every coach that ever played in the nhl has been fired, doesn't mean there bad just wasn't working with the team anymore for whatever reason and Ps Vancouver made a big mistake firing AV.

its so sad to b an oiler fan so many holes that realistically itll b 3years b4 we make the playoffs an when we do eberle,nuge,hall,shultz will all b invisible. all the players I mentioned couldn't compete with a fly unless hall knees him. if there not willing to compete this year trade them while u can and get a 1a dman that's missing. we also need a new scout, oilers don't have anyone out of the 1st round that can compete, why does every other team have 1 or 2 of these guys? im sick of ppl saying give the kids time, u either have it or u don't. we need players like shaw, marchant, oduya, bolland, not spoiled kids who play when they want to. this team will never compete til they hire an experienced coach, last 2 coaches had no head coaching experience so hey why not hire another 1 seems to b working? the reason I left yakupov off the list is he competes on and off the ice. we finished 29th last year and the goal was to make the playoff this year so who do they add? fistic,smithenson,brown wow howd they not make it? I know ppl r going to hate these things I said but come on we ve been patiently waiting for 7years now its about time 2 take chances things aren't working the way there going. I know no one wants to sign here so the only way is to make a big trade

Need a new Scout? The one we have has been on the job since what 2009? The average prospect takes 3-4 years to develope into an NHL'er. Are you seriously writing off the dozen or more 1st year pro and Jr players already? Or do you think that any prospect that doesnt make the team by 20 is a bust? Seems kind of retarded to me.
