I remember when everyone debates him vs. Sid

Many said he was better but wouldn't last long cause of his playing style. He'd get too many concussions.

- robin_steele264

yeah, and then he got lazy and it was "it's a shame OVs career went to crap already". Now he's back up with Sid (who, I have a feeling you were pointing out the irony in those predictions).

Yeah but imagine how Chara would be off his game 4 minutes a night. 2 minutes in the first period and 2 minutes in the 2nd.

This is priceless.

but those are intangibles that kessel doesn't have.

first line maybe? get those minutes up

Looks like T-Bay is buying out Malone. There was even talk of them taking Komisarek for him in their blog! Any interest???
- Jimmy_wiener

Thank God we didn't sign that guy.

I never understood what the hullaballoo on that guy was.

haha of course. instant argument winner

Although I will say honestly that the Leafs need that overdose of toughness on the 4th line because they lack it elsewhere throughout the line up.

With those guys buzzing around keeping other teams honest, it lets the younger/smaller guys play with a little more confidence.

yup.

what does tampa want to send back? a pail of beach sand? good enough. sold.

- Dozzer

Watch Out! To Trade Komisarek that pail of sand would have a Sharp Object contaminated with Hep C and the Bird Flu.

if we are buying out Komi anyways, and TB wants to buy out Malone but cant afford to? they send Malone and a pick or Prospect to Toronto for Komi (who they try to use instead of buy out?). Toronto then buys out Malone. Free pick for a buyout we were using anyways.

Malone has 2 years left, Komi 1.

Aging 40 to 50 point winger with a big price tag ,not a good investment to a team that already boasts some of the best wingers in the east

He's still getting over the beating he took.

Clearly. Only played 45 minutes last night. Hawks should send Komorav a thank you letter.

Ek still blogging from "Chicago"?
Anyone called anyone "bub" yet?
Anyone tried to argue that Fenwick is more factual than actual wins and losses yet?

4 of the top 5 possession teams made it to the conference finals.

Its possible for a weak possession team like toronto to make the playoffs in a 48 game season, but over a larger sample size they probably come down in the standings. in the past 2 seasons the Leafs are a 48 game playoff team.

Tell you what, if the leafs play 82 games next season and have sucky possession numbers and still make the playoffs we can revisit.

So, when Fenwick doesn't work, it is the sample size?

Yes, I understand statistics and sample sizes. I just find it amazing how you Fenwick guys are absolutely convinced that it is true and it works.

... put your money where your mouth is using Fenwick and come back tell me how you got rich, k?
