Before the previous lockout, the Bell Center wasn't selling out when the Habs moved from the Forum to the Bell Center. You could walk right in on game night and buy a pair of tickets.

And 2 years ago, when they finished 15th in the east, you could also buy tickets on game night by mid-season.

Hawks are an original six team, theyve had fans for years...but like anything else youll always have a few bandwagoners. Look at this year with the Leafs even, far too many jumped onboard when they suddenly had success who gave up on the team entirely just a year or two before. Heck, I have HABS friends who were chearing them on!!

Now, if the habs were to finish at the bottom for a few years, you'd probably see quite a few empty seats at the Bell Center.
