I thought we had got passed this junk science. Success = money ...much more money -especially now that the team is owned by broadcasting giants.

Ownership not caring about winning because they sell seats and jerseys anyway is the equivalent of arguing that you don't care about banging hot chicks because you've got a dozen fat chicks lined up at your door.

*Disclaimer: this hypo only works if you don't like fat chicks. If you prefer fat chicks to hot chicks than substitute the word fat for the word hot and the word hot for the word fat.

Dude - I'm not making the argument that ownership doesn't care about winning. Of course it does - publicly traded companies care about 1 thing: profits. And hockey in May/June = increased profits.

I'm arguing the pressure from fans and media to win isn't as powerful as the guy I was replying to was suggesting.

But.. if someone liked fat chicks, wouldnt he think they are hot. Because they are his type?
I don't know what I'm trying to admit here

My bad ..response meant for Garnie.

I'm sensitive about Leaf ownership ...not about large women though.

couldn't help myself - big project so any excuse to procrastinate - but I had to google "fridge watch". The interweb is a strange and wonderful place. Somebody has a website all about their fridges and what they have in them.

Okay back to work...
