He spent over 2 minutes per game on the PK.

No question they are different players. Gallagher I see as a Marchand type while Kessel is top 5 in scoring over the last two years combined. I don't care about ELC or any of the other variables discussed. Simply suggesting this trade does not happen FOR ANY REASON brings me back awhile to the Canuck posters saying they wouldn't trade Hodgson for Tavares. It is almost on the same level of ridiculousness.
- gamedaytix

Well said. This trade gets done all things being equal. Unfortunately, Eller wears #81, so it'll never happen.

Agreed. Ryan White has elements that Kessel doesn't as well. Would you keep Ryan White over Kessel?

With undertones...

Problem is when you are comparing players, should stick to comparing the same type of player, but it is amusing or if you will, entertaining to read some of it.

I'm sure Kessel would be willing to switch to 18.

It's what being a fan is all about. After all, fan is short for fanatic, and let's face it, all Leaf fans are crazy when it comes to their team.

Galchenyuk, Gallagher.

Plekanec, Pacioretty are debatable. Not the same kind of players.

i think Kessel/Gallagher are comparables given their size/position. and obviousyl, Kessel is the far more valuable player.
