Very happy with Eakins hiring.
MacT is gonna shake things up and not be nearly as timid as Tambi - robin_steele264
So he's going to be Brian Burke except within the need for cameras adoring his every movement. |

Agreed. He has come up huge in several spots. - hscesq
I think that adds to the hate towards him.
Gotta admit I laughed my ass off when Cooke was going at him then he scores a beauty and goes right at him.

I don't anyone would need to provide evidence of him being better offensively. That's absolutely 100% blatantly obvious. Even his statement about the wrist shot is kind of silly. He put up a lot of assists this year, and I'm sure even Habs fans saw some of the playmaking he did.
Defensively? Not an easy one to provide factual evidence for either way. But most Leaf fans will tell you, he played pretty well defensively this year. Last year, he started to use his speed to backcheck a lot more, and this year, he was flat out fine defensively. - Dirte
That you think it's 100% blatantly obvious, doesn't lend support to your claim. It means that you like him better because he is on the Leafs, and you hate the Habs. And that's fine - not saying you are wrong about his offensive abilities.
As for defensively, I'm not sure the back up coming from Leaf fans is going to do it. |

you should no better than to get into a pseudo-debate any player being better than a habs player.
they even defend douche bags who left the team three or four years ago.
just remember, every Hab is simply better than everyone else all of the time... and Hab prospects are just through the roof good.... you know other worldly. |

135 points in the last two seasons. Pretty good facts if you ask me.
As for defensively, I'm not sure the back up from Habs fans saying he hasn't been better is going to do it either. |

The best part of your post, is that if you remove every "hab" and replace it with "leaf", you are left with an exact description of...YOU! It couldn't more you. |

Kessel had 11 giveaways in 7 playoff games.
Your turn. - DrRecchi
Call me crazy, but a giveaway is something that happens when you're on the offense, right? Not on defense?

Yeah, you can't post the word "habt**d". Sorry Borje. This isn't a Habs thing. "Leaft**d" wouldn't be allowed either. |

That's a lot of points, no doubt. But that's not what the entire game is about. He can definitely put up points and there is no debating that. |
