The Bolland fan in me is really pulling for a big series from the Rat. Here's hoping he's got on more big playoff series in him. - Ogilthorpe2
I agree. And I think he does have it in him still. I thought he was pretty good in games 4 and 5. He does his best work with an assignment, too. I actually liked him with frolik and kruger but he has been great with shaw in the past. |

Maybe, but they also still lack a true red ass parked in front of the net. If only more of you had been on board with the whole Looch to Chicago thing we were trying to put together a few weeks ago.... - Ogilthorpe2
Red ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Strike up the band.....pour the drinks....it's red ass time..... |

He'd make a fan of me again if he can bring it the way he has in playoff series past. Either way think he is probably gone in the offseason but would love to see him have a great series in his typical shutdown role and go out in a blaze of glory...please don't cue the cheesy Bon Jovi song up for this one. - HawkintheD
I agree with all of this. I also expect him to be gone in the summer. The better he plays the better for the hawks anyway. He can play a huge role if he can shutdown one of their 2 lines. I wonder what all these Bollus people were saying back in 2010? Probably never gave him credit then, either |

Yeah, a shame really. I hear that the Hawk FO monitors these boards and highly values all of our armchair GM opinions. When they tallied up the numbers for and against as far as trading for Looch, well, they just weren't there. Sad; if a few more of us had thrown out a proposal of Monty, Lalonde, and Beach for Looch...we coulda had him... |

Wow! That looks painful. On the other hand if Bickell goes, we might be able to get this guy for peanuts...or something like that. |

I'm not convinced it's a sure fire bet that he's gone. Probably, but not certain. Q seems to like him, if Q's here next year, I think there's at least a somewhat decent chance that Bolland is too. I'd put it at 60/40 he's gone. |

Maybe Q just wants to get the B52 a finals appearance to ensure his name on The Cup - Ogilthorpe2
He played 25 games this season... he should be on it regardless of an appearance in the FINAL.
A related note- Carcillo only played 23 games. How pissed would you be if you were him (full well knowing you probably wont see the ice in the Final), missing your name being engraved on the cup by one single game
So close.

I wouldn't get too concerned either way ...Stalberg wasnt going to play much either.
Bollig is less likely to score more likely to throw a big hit and less likely to make a turnover.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is a 3 line game with Frolik/Krueger playing PK and seeing some time with Kane.
