Already stated I was drunk and it was 3 out of 6, you donks lol. And it's Sven Bartschi, you tool. And we do have many to be excited about, TJ Brodie, Laurent brossoit, max reinhart, Jon Gilles, Joni ortio, pat sieloff, Tyler wotherspoon, John gaudreau, micheal Ferland, Markus granlund...... And not to mention Ben hanowski, Kenny agostino, and mark cundari who we acquired. All decent to upper level prospects waiting to emerge, and waiting to be in a winning environment. - Emcee27
So are those guys lining up to be the new Harvey the Hound Mascot or the Flames future Cheerleaders |

Ouch I misspelled a weird European name. You sure got me. And winning environment? Have you forgot that you're a flames fan? You're picking ahead of us in the draft - Ihatebrianburke
Did you forget you picked first overall 3 years in a row? Flames have never picked in the top five, ever. |

Should be okay, just as long as you surround yourself with intelligent people.
Flames GM Sutter had Feaster. |

It's too bad, really. I wish there still were star for star trades.
I was just curious what Oilers fans thoughts were on whether or not they'd trade one of those guys. Seems counter-productive to label all of them as "untouchable." Like you said, if a trade offer came along that would improve the team and it involved moving one of them, MacT would likely pull the trigger. I wonder what the Oilers could get for one of them. Probably a fair bit. A top pairing d-man or an entire third line. Will be interesting to see what happens going forward. If the Oilers don't make the playoffs next year I could see something big happening. - hankthetank
its easy to overvalue and become attached to the players on your favourite team. im sure im no exception to a certain degree.
but im also not blind enough to think some real impact moves dont need to made if we ever wanna become a real perennial contender. but as I said, I think that can be accomplished without moving one of the big 5.
just for argument sake, if one was to be moved id wager it'd be eberle. with the emergence of yaks, our obvious need for size, and the fact that they play the same position (the other 3 are irreplaceable as far as positional strength) he could be movable depending. and I do think he could bring back a good return. a young top pairing defender, or a power forward type.
and ill also agree that some serious changes could be made if they fail to make the playoffs this year |

Jank was a high risk high reward pick, and isn't developing very well so far, hence the reason I leave him out |

Eberle would be one of the last guys I would move. Seems to have the intangibles. Or maybe I'm just bias cause all those clutch goals he scored for team Canada.
What's the projected line up for the Oilers for next season as of right now? |

Any trade for a true star on any other team will begin with the GM inquiring about one of your "big 5" and will end with Mac T offering Gagner. I dont see the Oil acquiring anyone significant without moving an "untouchable" asset.
