Mantha is the best scorer in this class. I would love to take him at 16 but i feel he could be a bust too soooooo...

Mantha 72 goals in the QMJHL the last 2 seasons.

Rychel 81 goals in the OHL the last 2 seasons.

Historically the QMJHL is a more offensive league. I'd put Rychel ahead of Mantha, but that's just me.

It's a bit of a reach at 16 as I don't think I've sen him lower than 20th.

he will be pushed around very easily. I just see him as more of a mason raymond. quick, decent shot but nothing spectacular. many people talk about him like scoring threat of stamkos or tavares...wrong IMO.

thats the unfortunet reality............. and for years will be hes the guy who went 1 spot ahead of us ala Patrick Willis to the Williams

yea.. but for what is my question.. if we trade for backstrom.. then we have all centers and no wingers.... if we trade for kuzentov then we have a huge upside but it would take a lot of coaxing and maybe Pegula rolling out a fat contract to get him here from the KHL.

I am not agains the trade.. but obviously the 23rd overall is involved.. but what else... if we get backstrom we have all centers and no wingers AT ALL on our team.. and if we trade for Kuzentov.. who knows how much money or how long until he comes over from the K.
