Ruff is a Canadian guy... I could see him picking Couver.. I think they have hte best roster out of the group too... Rangers and Canucks have bad salary caps though I think...

not to mention of the 3 they have the best defensive players. Rags will hate his style and Dallas doesnt seem to be a fit they will prob go with a young guy. Issue is if its down to Rags and Nucks both places hes only going to get a small window to win.

They actually have Hackett, Makarov, Larsson, Armia, Nelson, Catenacci, McCabe, McNabb, Pysyk, and Ruhwedel as 7.0 talent wise or better

Prob of success of B or better are Armia, Foligno, Larsson, and Girgensons...

Side Note.. Philly, Col, Car, and NJD have the WORST prospects in the NHL according to the site's spring rankings.

We lack a superstar - Grigorenko maybe.

Philly I'd give a pass to - they have graduated a ton of their young players. It's not so much they don't have young talent in so much as it's the young talent is playing with the big team.

He basically has a choice between cap limbo and cap hell.

yea.. I think that dallas is the youngst team that he could mold how he wants.. he has a few young stars there in Benn and Eriksson.

i think that Couver is going to have cut, buyout, or trade a few guys to make cap space.... Booth, Garrison, Ballard, or Bieksa.


Speaking of which.. I would love a trade for Bieksa.. maybe a 2nd rounder and JGL or something?

I thought I listed him before.. that is my bad.. he is tied with Hackett, McCabe, and McNabb for highest levels with a 7.5.. All of them have "C's" as their prob. of success though. Foligno is the only "A" on the team but a 6.5 with prospective talent

They all have Anthony Mantha in the top 12.... I was surprised by this... they said that he is the best offensive gifted player in this year's draft and the only one with a 50 goal season under his belt...

If that is true.. I might be really interested in taking him at 16 or so.. and taking Risto at 8.

One has Buffalo drafting Puluck and Erne

Another with them drafting Shinkaruk and Hartman

And the last one with them drafting Lindholm and Mueller

I don't like who Buffalo passed over in a few of those picks for 16th.

he is also the 14th highest rated prospect across the NHL.

Tarasenko, Galychenyuk, Huberdeau, Hamilton, Yakupov, Kuznetsov, schultz, Zibanejad, Reilly, Baertschi, Strome, Markstrom, Reinhardt, Grigo, and Murray are the top 15.

Armia is #32.

It appears that the Canes biggest need is defense.. but at #5 it doesn't fit ot take one that high.. they are the perfect team to trade back to 7-9 to get Nurse or Risto IMO.

Oilers need Defense too... I see them taking Nurse at 7.
