I think you’re totally right. It’s not like he had excellent stats in the Finnish league at just 18 years old. Not a first round pick. Oh, and he didn’t put up pretty solid AHL stats at 20 and 21. And he totally didn’t put up some of the best stats in the Czech league during the lockout.
None of these things happened. At all. He’s nothing without Boston’s D. - Dirte
I never said those things did not happen. Those are all wonderful developmental leagues. Does it rain marchands if he is in Florida?

You are denying the D core and the teams overall commitment to D? THINK McFly. - rugdnit

What does that have to do with anything? there a dime a dozen goalies who have excellent stats in leagues etc before hitting the NHL (and even in the NHL), it doesn't mean they are great goalies (look at Bryzgalov, who was excellent in Phoenix because he was sheltered by a very good defensive team). I'm not saying Rask is a bad goalie, far from it; however, I think his numbers are inflated because he is playing in front of such an excellent defensive team. There is no way he has these numbers on any other team.
lack of love for the hawks in here, has to be bickell or sharp for the hawks, then after them 2, throw in keith and crow, but in reality the hawks team D deserves it as a whole
I think now that Pronger is done, Chara is now the most irreplaceable player in the NHL. You could trade him to Florida and they'd be in the playoffs next year. The guy is just gold, and the main reason Boston is about to win their 2nd cup in the last 3 years

The Nashville Predators signed defenceman Roman Josi to a seven-year, $28 million contract Monday, securing the other piece of their top defensive line.

Randy Carlyle. He's the reason the Bruins are in the finals. I mean his team is winning 4-1 with 10 min left, Boston is all over the Leafs. The B's score & it's 4-2. A timeout Randy? Were down to the final 2 minutes, Bruins all over the Leafs. Timeout Randy? Bruins score, it's 4-3 Leafs. Timeout Randy? Randy had 10 minutes to get his team under control. Hard to believe this guy won a cup in Anahiem. Leafs will regret the day they let Eakins go.
I don't know what's sadder, that whole beating in general, or the fact that there's an International Ball Hockey Championship that anyone gives a poop about in the first place.

What the hell? Did the ref get his leg broken? - Ledgermain
I don't know wtf happened there--The goalie tried jumping on the grenade and I think he hurt the ref and then wound up getting his ass beat too--which is weird, cause generally you don't wake up w/ Chris Tucker standing over you when you're wearing a caged helmet...
$5 says that guy walked off, gave the heavyweight champion belt taunt, and had himself a cold one in the locker room before the cops came.
I think your correct, Bergeron is the best overall player in the NHL. Hes the best defensive zone forward, best at faceoffs, puts up a good amount ofpoints, CLUTCH, and a great leader.
