Well come on... Eberle is proven- last year he even put up pts playing the whole season with a broken hand... and the year prior he was a (frank)ing all star.... Yaks is likely the best 1st overall we have- he is solid, fast and his one timer is the best on the team- plus he led the team in his rookie year in goals FFS....

and YES with Eakins having so many tools at his disposal.... may the flood gates of numerous cup appearances begin

Why could I see him doing very well in Detroit? His style of game is perfect for that team and he'd be sheltered by incredible two way centers. Not sure if they really want to get any older but that could be the best destination for him.

Gonchar robidas cole Whitney are the only players over 30 that I can think of that play a serious role on our team. And I guess you didn't catch the part about taking hemsky. The most I'd trade for him is fiddler or nystrom
